Cakes, yum. The kids are eating ice cream and I need to stay away, I wore a shirt today and C10 said, "Well it is a little tight."

I fear a root canal is in my immediate future. My tooth has been hurting all day, starting last night. It's already been capped. The gum doesn't hurt, but the tiniest bit of pressure on or behind the tooth and I just want to scream. Neither Advil earlier today or Vicodin an hour ago has helped. :::sigh:::

On a cheerier note, went to my friend's 50th birthday bash tonight. It was held in a section of a museum, which was very cool. We walked through part of it. Saw an almost 8 foot bear and a smaller black bear. Definitely wouldn't want to run into either of their live relatives!

The food was unbelievable. Couple pasta and carvery stations, crabmeat salad, couple different salmon selections, cheese, fruit, shrimp, oysters, endless trays of delacacies passed around. Can't even remember everything there. Desserts? Oh, Lord. Birthday cake, little pastries, fruit, chocolate mousse, hot fudge fondue. I can't remember all the desserts either. She had a DJ, too. It was a very nice evening.

Tomorrow, I plan to hopefully sleep in a bit, then later on I see Euan in Measure For Pleasure at its' final performance.

So I made my first ever weekend emergency dental call today. From what I described he mentioned a root canal happening tomorrow, and called in an antibiotic prescription for me. Have to call the office first thing. UGH! Haven't had one of them in years. Thankfully, the pain has subsided alot. Hoping that keeps up through the show tonight.

You poor thing. Toothache pain is awful. I hope the antibiotic and pain relievers let you get some rest. Good luck with the dental work.

I remember having an abscessed tooth in high school and I wanted to just die. After the dentist drained it and gave me an antibiotic I felt so much better. It was an incredible relief.

Ugh girly, I'm sorry. I've had a few of those, and have 3 teeth patiently waiting for one. Thank goodness the toothache I had last week subsided.

Hi Everybody
The rumors of my supposed demise are greatly exaggerated.
Just been doing the job search thang on Craigslist.
Spent some time over at Mominators this afternoon cleaning up my intro letter and resume so I can get a job in NYC. Focusing on Brooklyn area. Found a lot of nice apts. Need the job first.
Any suggestions are most welcome.

Girly, I'm sorry to read about your tooth problem. Hopefully the pain has subsided and you were able to enjoy the show tonight.

I agree with beacon, once they are able to drain it and clean it up with antibiotics the relief is incredible.

That's true. My week was pretty horrible. But a new week is starting soon.

Yes, I have rehearsal again this week. That's always an enjoyable thing.

It was really bothersome during the first act, but subsided alot for the second. Now it's starting up again, just in time for me going to bed. Hopefully, I'll manage some sleep tonight.

BTW, the show was great! Boobs and I were in the first row and he laughed alot during it. I was worried he wouldn't enjoy it, but he said he did and he seemed to so... YAY!

Good Morning all !!! Coffee is brewing...SOMMS is baking something special for us, but he won't tell me what.

Last night I saw one of the funniest plays I think I've ever seen at The Public... "Measure for Pleasure". I think if Shakespeare was alive today he would have written this...it would be his naughtiest play. The cast was amazing..there wasn't one role that I would change. Euan Morton proved that he can act as well as he can sing. Last night was the final performance, but I would hope that it goes on. Sorry Girly if I ruptured your ear drum with my high shrill laughter..at least it stopped your tooth pain for awhile.
