Good morning all! Had an incredible weekend - went to a fundraiser yesterday and spent way too much money, and drank way too much! I am a little fuzzy this morning. Not sure why but I keep singing the la - la song from the Banana Splits - totally odd and random. Beautiful weather out - but the rain is moving back in in a couple of hours, or so they say. How IS everyone?

cheeze, sounds like a wonderful weekend! It looks like we're in for a stretch of beautiful weather in NY.

I had some wonderful moments this weekend. Truly wonderful. One of the highlights was seeing Cate Blanchette in Hedda Gabler at BAM. Exquisite. Spectacular performance.

Addy - I have never seen Hedda before, and I love Blanchette. How wonderful! What does she look like in person, is she tall? I keep thinking her to be statuesque.

She's tall. And slim. And radiant. Almost regal. Yet warm.

She has the most beautiful skin and bright blue eyes.

Ah - good to hear. Just as I imagined. On another note though - I bought my tour book Friday right? - So I am looking things up and getting excited - then I see that the Oak Bar at the Plaza is still listed! Now I am wondering how much stuff is out of date in my book. My heart kinda sunk there for a moment - and the copyright is 2006. Must have gone to print when the bar was actually closing.

Cheeze, was it the Oak Bar in the Plaza that was still listed? Probably because the business hasn't been closed, even if the space isn't open right now. They intend to reopen it. What other places are you looking into?
