Jungle...I'm sure all will be fine with you puppy....I know that the breed has problems with their ears...my Uncle had 3 Cocker Spaniels.

BB, not really. She seems to be reasonably stable. I do not even ask about the deadbeat husband. She mailed something that was to be FedEx and I actually raised my voice.

hey Dame....most of the times you can find me here hanging out, but I've been so busy lately with work and changes in my life that I'm hardly on. So I usually just come here to escape from my day when I can. Right now I'm letting stuff pile up.

Everyone - Thanks so much for your kind wishes for my Cocker. He really is my baby. He sits in my lap every night and hops into bed like he owns the place. Surgery took place last night at the University of Georgia's Veterinary Hospital - about an hour away from my home in Atlanta. The Chief of Staff - who is a very nice man - performed the surgery himself. My Cocker came through the anesthesia fine and they were trying to manage his *discomfort* with synthetic morphine and antibiotics. Because the problem was severe, he had to perform total ear canal ablations on both ears...my dog will be clinically deaf. I know that he has been in pain... and hopefully after he recovers, that pain will be gone forever. I get the next update this evening. We are not encouraged to visit at this time...but the Doctor believes that Gunther will be able to come home on Friday or Saturday.
