honestly, brd, I don't even remember. One disappeared, I do know that much. It's just certain individuals seem to get hell-bent on something, and drop any and all barriers (not to mention propriety) to get what they want.

ANYWAY, that's why I'm sticking to the 'hood' today

Thread Jack - I would like to see Addy and my wife take on Tom Cruise on the issues of the treatment of depression and then child birth, it would not be pretty and we would find Tom in a "fetal" position with bruises!!!!

g'afternoon, kiddies! Guess what? I just got a job! You have no idea how hard it is to get someone to talk to you when you reach the senior set! This is particularly good because I only wanted to work P/T. They wanted me to be there 5 days a week. I talked them into letting me get the time in on Mon-Wed, leaving Thu-Sun free. This lets me continue working at the SI as well. I'm happy!

I really think it will be. We provide quidance to companies to help them stay in compliance with Federal privacy laws. For the most part these laws were passed during the Clinton administration to prevent health providers and banks from selling or giving your personal medical and banking information to outsiders. This company goes in and looks at a company's current procedures, devises new procedures to bring them into compliance, provides training for the employees of the firm in the new procedures, and then comes back in after a year and re-evaluates - to make sure they're still on the up and up. Since I'm the part time new kid on the staff, I'll pretty much do whatever they want me to do, to help out. Jack of all trades, you know. I believe the formal title is 'admin assistant'.

Well, the trip wasn't what we anticipated - but it wasn't without it's high points (a couple of them involving denizens of this very thread!) We take what was good, and let the rest fade into history.

I imagine spring has sprung in the north - that should be a good thing.

We finally have green grass, dafodils, and trees fuzzy with new leaves so, yes, it's finally here! Friday and Saturday were drop-dead gorgeous days. It's a little cooler and windy now, but winter is behind us!
