Hello adults - Sounds like things have been a little crazy around here lately. I have been working more hours than usual and the new pup is taking more time of course. He's doing okay but still has accidents if I'm not watchful. I'm not going anywhere like Singapore or Paris but I am going to Crystal Lake which is up north aways for a week starting this Saturday. Hope to get some reading done. Anyone have any suggestions for great reading. I am finally going to read The Davinci Code and someone just gave me Till the Fat Girl Sings. Looking forward to a week away!

addict, that sounds like the perfect summer vacation!

I'm not going anywhere exotic, either, but am looking forward to a week at Basin Harbor Club in Vermont, the end of August. SO peaceful and relaxing, with lots of great outdoor activites! I've got my reading list all set to go... And they have a gourmet dining room! The food is amazing...

One of my best friends is a Les Miz fanatic. I think he may have gotten us tickets for the first preview, now that I think about it....

addict, two books that I have set aside for vacation reading are:

Lost Hearts in Italy - by Andrea Lee

Dutchess of Aquitaine: A Novel of Eleanor - by Margaret Ball

And I have a Philippa Gregory book set aside, as well.
