I think I spoke too soon. Just heard some mega thunder. I think this one will, Rath. It's only supposed to be 85ish tomorrow. After the past couple days, that'll feel balmy.

Yes - turns out I had mis filed some taxes a few years back - and it caught up with me. Nothing dodgy - just a simple mistake. They gave me three months to pay and that is that. The IRS was actually VERY nice about it - it was almost nightmarish in the calmness of tone the man I spoke with was. Maybe there is something I don't know...lol.

Yowza! Thunder and lightening!

I talked to my sister in PA around 9 and they had no power, but said that things were a bit cooler.

I can't wait to open my windows and let some cooler air in when this storm passes. Right now it's really intense!

It's just now calming down here, but not much cooler - it was cool during the storm, but it doesn't seem to be lasting, dammit.

They're saying there is still a storm watch, so I don't think the cooler air has moved in yet.

I finally broke down and turned on the AC in my bedroom tonight. I couldn't take another night without it.
