I think I shall slink off to bed too!

Who ate all the ice cream?
Hey, DD! I think the one thing the French have not mastered, when it comes to food, is ice cream. That's probably a good thing for me though!
Miss P! *ponders* that's true... you never hear people brag about the fabulous french ice cream.
It's gorgeous out! Finally!

Morning Girly !!! Busy morning here as usual...be back lata. Ciao for now..*grabs coffee and runs out*
Good morning all!
By the way, there is a divine ice cream shop near Notre Dame in Paris that makes fabulous ice cream. I've gone all three times that I've been to Paris. The name is escaping me. Addy? Cookie?
I forgot to buy coffee filters for my little 4 cupper. I've fashioned a very interesting filter from napkins. Hope it works!

Nothing like a little lint in your coffee, Girly.
Good morning my peoples!
I've made stranger filters before Girly. MUST HAVE COFFEE!
can't you always use panty hose as a filter?
I've had to resort to using mine on several occassions. Opps ... never mind!
i remember reading or seeing something on what you can use as a coffee filter in a pinch. doesn't seem right that you would have a pair of panty hose just lying around for the task, now does it? must be something else.

I had a friend who made coffee using a sock once. A CLEAN sock, for which we were all very grateful.
Somms, I know exactly the shop you're talking about... and the name will come to me! I just need more coffee!
*sigh*
Paris.
I'm just checking in for a minute before I have a 10am conference call...
I don't even want to tell you some of the things my roommates and I used to use for coffee filters back in the day. We were desperate, and when it comes to coffee... well...
Actually didn't turn out too bad. If the coffee in the cafeteria didn't suck so badly, I wouldn't have to make my own. I found one coffee filter, which I'll use later. It was hiding in the back of the cabinet.

SOMMS-y: Glace' en Paris? Mais oui!
I managed to kill the adults thread.
And cut hand on a piece of broken glass.
*Rushes in with a bandaid.*
Cookie!
Are you ok?
You didn't kill it... I've just been busy with a conference call. But, we're on the 'blah, blah, blah' portion so I'm here for a bit.
OMG! It's a celebrity!
*fanboy shrieks*
Thank you!

Brief visit today. Work to catch up and stuff... which means that instead of 6 hours I'll spend 5.5 hours here today.
Back to the coffee brewing: back home (Costa Rica) we brew coffee using a 'coffee bag', which is basically like a cheesecloth pocket on a ring, it sits on a wood stand, and you put the coffee pot below it. You just pour boiling water. I tell you the coffee tastes much better than brewed in a coffee maker.
Not a fan of coffee (ducks) however the icecream looks very good.
