Is getting hit by a truck part of the ritual? I guess that's what's called "taking one for the team". Tink - it was fun following your FB posts last night!
'Morning, all! Welcome back, Deet! I'll bet you're missing the SoCal weather!
We're opening school late today, due to freezing drizzle and rain. Half our students are headed down to the March for Life anyway, so there'll probably be 100 kids here by 10:00am. I like those odds!
It was. Some of my friends were bitching about their clogged newsfeeds. I was giggling. Then once they won, I just sat back and watched my feed explode.
Tink did have me a bit concerned for her health, though.

I like the idea of a breakfast at Casa de Zoo. How is the new kitty doing?
I try my best to entertain, moony, lol. Most of the magic was happening on my dad's status update - we were going back and forth and our banter skills are undeniable.
yeah, plenty of people bitch about their clogged news feed, but my opinion is, bothers you that much? Block me, see if I care. I think it is amazing how FB has become a place for fan togetherness.
I was a bit concerned for my own health, lol. During the game I constantly question why I feel so strongly or passionately when it can lead to such heartbreak, and then that moment happens when we win and it makes it all worth it and that much better.

The new baby, Teaser, is doing well. Even though he is younger than Tonky he seems bigger. He is thick where she is slim. He is a little shy, but is getting used to me. He doesn't runaway from me and lets me pick him up without fussing. He purrs like a motor when I pet him. I have him in the guest bathroom at the moment. I didn't want to scare him all at once. I did at one point have him in his crate and tried introcducing Tonky to him. He started hissing and she arched her back. I didn't think that was a good sign, so back to his bathroom he went. I also want to have him examined by the vet before I introduce all of them. I don't need them all getting sick if he has any parasites or anything. The vet is going to try and fit me into her already booked schedule tonight.

Boobs, once the vet gives you the green light, take a towel with his scent, and one with Tonky's scent, and put it with each of them - so they get used to the other's scent.
Just my suggestion.
And, it is raining here in SoCal, so I am sure D2 is glad he is gone. Rain in SoCal is the equivalent of driving through the second circle of hell.
YWIW, good suggestion. Although I'm sure they both smell them on me. I can't stop holding and kissing both of them. He is so much more like a stuffed teddy bear. She's more like one of those unstuffed teddy bears the dogs play with LOL

Well, if you are the scent stud, that will work as well!
When I got Zander, the rescue place suggested that I leave a towel with his and Zorra's scent on each side of the door - treats in front of the door, and general bribes to make the experience of meeting each other a good one.
Tonky is so beautiful and regal, and Teaser is just adorable!
I would have two kitties climbing me, Frankie sitting and watching with his head cocked to the side, and Joop's little paw would be patting at me, to not forget her.

Morning peeps! There's a yellow thing in the sky today...it's melting the snow...loving it!
Teaser was such a good boy at the vet. They kidnapped him from me. I was afraid they weren't bringing him back. The vet suggests I keep him separated for at least 2 more weeks until all his results come back negative. She even gave me flea medication just in case. I'd rather be save than sorry.
