Greetings from the frozen Great Pacific Northwest.

Yes, we are alarmists in Seattle when it comes to snow, but this has been interesting. Snow day yesterday, and ice day today. Man, I don't miss east coast ice storms. Thankfully we were prepared and have plenty of food and wine so we don't have to leave the apartment, and all our devices are fully charged in the likely event we'll lose power. Of course by tomorrow it will all be rain and back to normal NW weather.

TGIF peeps!!! It's been the week from hell here. I'm sure it will get easier, but for now I am doing the job of the person who resigned on top of my other functions. Good times!!! I keep reminding myself how lucky I am to have a job.

Very busy today here too. Thank God the weekend starts soon - albeit an icy one. I don't plan on going anywhere.

Moony, I could only wish I'd get his salary too. You know that's not happening. I need to get someone else trained on these jobs.
The word for today is "delegate" Now if only my boss goes for it. It's nice to know he trusts me, but it's not fair to give me this work load. Back to the dungeon!!

Helen Hunt was on the front page of today's LA Time Calendar section - I nearly spat out my oatmeal.

Cranky YWIW begins to come out when waiting for a reservation... but the wonderful company and food soothed the savage crank.

And, we got to meet a celebrity chef. She was really adorable and apologetic.

Tinky, I LOVE the car! I'm getting used to driving a car again. I've had SUVs for so long now that I forgot how much faster a car can be. I need to let up on my lead foot

We saw the most adorable Cavalier King Charles Spaniel in a pet store yesterday. I was soooooo tempted.

But J2 has a clearer head than I. Sometimes that's a good thing.
