Is the platypus still around?
He just surfaced again -- works in prison ministry. That's one way to get it.
Mornin'
Jet-lag gone -- it should be as I slept most of the day and through the night. That's what a screaming child directly behind you for 5 hours will cause.
And before you all ask: after the way both parents turned on the other passengers and a flight attendant (in flight), there was no way I was going to say anything.
Morning.
Crazy early start to the day. Yesterday ended up being a perfect storm of crazy in the office so I have some serious mop-up today.
And a big team pow-wow at 9.
Not happy.
Not sure if I'll approach it as a 'teaching opportunity' or simply rip them to shreds...
Sigh...
Hope things are more fun in Adult-Smoking-and-Joking-Land!
Will be sending extra special thoughts your way today, Addy!
Thanks, Dottie!
What a nice treat to see you here this morning!
Hope you have a sweet day :)
Thank you. Yea, it's been ages since I stopped by this thread!
Good morning, kids. Did I oversleep?
Morning peeps and peepettes! Happy HUMP day! I need to teach a certain kitty that meowing at 4 a.m. is unacceptable! I may have to ship her back to her homeland if this keeps up! Well perhaps I'll fly with her there
Awww, Boobs, i'm sorry. Mine are not meowing at 4am, but running around and driving me nuts. I keep having to remind myself that I WANTED this, lol.
Morning all. Happy Weds.
Hallo, kiddles. So it was pretty much as I posted the other day. Tonky crawled up onto my chest. Frankie then deemed it necessary to lay on my tummy, so then Joop got right up against my side, and her little paw rested on my thigh. Since the other kitty hasn't been mainstreamed yet, I visited with him in the bedroom. He was purring like a motorboat! Little head looking all around at his surroundings. And he kissed my nose, so I guess I got his seal of approval. LOL!!
Seems the Priscilla people are going all out with Scott and Todd. On Monday, they went over to the radio station and brought over a bunch of different shoes and costumes for a fitting. Shoes were too small. Todd was describing the costume as a "hoopy" thing. Then they were talking about how the one dresser asked him if his package was showing. Todd's like, "I can't see with this hoop thing! YOU tell ME!!" Today Scott said they have about three costume changes! He figured they'd have one outfit to wear. And they have to go to the Palace at some point to rehearse. Haha!!

Yo, Boobsie ... kitty sleepovers at Auntie Girly's ... She likes to stay up all night.
SOMMSY comes up with the best ideas!
I'll always have your back. You know too much.
Boobs - Earplugs - seriously. I have had to kick Zander (and Zorra by default) out of the bedroom, but still need earplugs to drown them out at night. You can still hear the alarm and other really loud stuff, but it does keep the meowing away.

Good lord - 4:00am??? This is why I only had dogs. And a parakeet. And one child.
'Morning! I don't envy Addy this morning.
So far not a peep from Teaser. I put him in the crate the other day and all the way to the vet's, at the vet's and back he didn't meow once. I know he can because I did hear him on the way home when I adopted him. Even then all I had to do was turn on the radio and he quieted down. Music does calm the savage beast. Siamese are very vocal, but not when you're trying to sleep it can be irritating. I actually got up, pet her and told her to ssshhhh, daddy had to sleep. Funny, but she didn't meow again until I got up. I guess she realized her siblings were all still sleeping too.
The only thing waking me up at that ungodly hour is my bladder. I call him #$*(&!!

Well, yeah, that too, SOMMS. It's our age.
Well while I was up I did my way to the bathroom too
That's right, Boobs, blame the cats.
Mornin'
And it starts again: Department meetings this afternoon and Friday, and then playing Meet The Monsters on Monday.
I'm 28 and experience that as well.... But I also drink like a camel (water and green tea people, not just booze) so that could be my reason
On occasion I lock the kitties out of my bedroom (usually not until like 4 or 5am) and they do cry a little bit but generally they just reek destruction of the bathroom in retaliation.
Serenity was never very vocal, but now that the kitten is here, all she does is whine. You'd think I never feed them by the way they cry for food.
We're going up to Connecticut next weekend to meet with a breeder.
You can have as much fun with that line as you like but you know what I mean.
