We should all be so lucky How'd you like that pic of him leaning back against the piano? As a pianist, it just makes me want to play.
NYadgal....don't push John too hard to change his plans...remember I have a very strong heart...LOL !!!

Haha - I think Boobs might be feeling better - the magic medicine of 'Hugh'
hey again guys. I can't seem to get my day rolling. I need a reason to venture outside into the sun and humidity.
I think I'll take my doggie to the run.
Yes, DG, it makes me want to play, too!
Boobs - love that heart! xo
DG...Huge picture just made me sweat !!! Thank God I'm going home to take a shower before the Wedding tonight.
Bwaysinger..have fun on your doggie run...say Hi to Zola.
Hi bwaysinger. There's no humidity today - it's really a beautiful day. So - get out there and enjoy!!

All the dampness seems to be in here - I CAN'T believe I just said that!
Sorry to hear that DG.
Ah, this is one of those days when DC shines - clear sky, no humidity. Other than all the Republicans, it is picture perfect.
"I enjoyed running into amasis last night, who lives in Indonasia."

I got a mention in the 'adult' thread!!!!
Well, I'm sure you figured that there are lots of lurkers in this thread, and I have to admit I'm one of them. But since you mentioned the chat, I just wanted to say I enjoyed running into you last night, as well. And to everyone else, Happy Friday!
Oh, and about "chatting with the kids last night", DGrant -- a little story: when i was still in high school in MN, I was having coffee with my host-father and one of his friends; my host-dad was telling his friend about this 30-something guy he had interviewed, whom he kept referring to as 'the kid'. And in the middle of the conversation he stopped, was silent for a moment, turned to me and said: "You know you're getting OLD when you start referring to 30-year-olds as 'kids'!!"
*runs out as quickly as possible*
(edit: I know people have moved on, but I had to go back and correct the spelling of the country. Just had to. IndonEsia. Now I'll sleep better tonight )

Now you know why I enjoyed running into amasis Besides that, she quotes Bertrand, my favorite philosopher!
BT, there's very little as pretty as DC when it's gorgeous - and the Republicans usually stay in their caves, so you're safe in the sunshine!
Hey Guys...just letting you know I'm leaving around Noon. Hopefully I'll be home early from the Wedding tonight and can play with you some more. Until then...hugs and kisses all around. xoXoxoxoxoxoxoxoxooxoxox

Give the groom a big sloppy kiss, Boobs Have fun, and many martinis!
Thanks DG..I just spit my water out with that Groom comment !!! I hope he likes tongue.
Hiya Kids....hows tricks? Hope all is well in your neck of the woods.
Good morning Bobby- tricks would be much better if I were out playing with the other kids rather than locked in my cubicle! Aw, but the weekend is just hours away, so I shouldn't complain.

Morning Bobby Have you washed all of Arizona out of your hair?
Not long now BT....cant wait to get outa here! Doing anything fun this weekend?
Hi Bobby - great to see you again!
DG - I liked the dampness comment a few posts back...
Boobs - Have fun at the wedding. I'll PM you if I hear anything. (I guess he meant Friday morning HIS time, not mine...) Cheeky bugger!
Gotta go try on bridesmaid dresses at lunch. Does this hell ever end??? One would think, at my age, I would be exempt from such nonsense, but NO. I have been a bridesmaid 16 times. This will be 17. I 'retired' at 15, but somehow two friends were able to talk me out of retirement. I think it may actually be the reason I've never agreed to marry anyone...I'm happy to forgo the silk and lace!

NYadgal - aren't you glad you discovered 'muy angry'?
It has made my day!
Hey Bobby - no big plans this weekend, which is a wonderful gift as far as i'm concerned. The contractors have finally hooked up the washer and dryer in the partially finished basement reconstruction. I guess I may shop for the wine refrigerator and a flat screen TV. Hey, it's only money, right?! Other than that, not much.
I'm glad I'm not out buying a bridesmaid dress, that's for sure! So, adgal, what does one do with 16 old bridesmaid dresses?
I keep threatening all my friends that if I ever DO get married I'm making them all wear the dresses I had to wear!
My 12-year old niece used to think I had the best dress-up collection!!
This must go down in history as the longest thread post ever. Congrats guys...I have no idea what you're talking about!
