NYadgal, have you ever heard the song "Always a Bridesmaid" from I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change?

NYadgal - I'd like to see you win THAT golf tournament!
NYadgal - I'm coming over to your house for dressup!
AZ is pretty much outa my system....seeings as I have not heard one word from that part of the country. so much for "WE have to communicate more!" whatever....I hope the Grand Canyon gets bigger and sucks them right to h*ll!

Bobby - good for you - the rest of the lyric would be 'and send them on their way!'
Having people around you who actually care about YOU is what's important. At the very least, you have THIS strange bunch to count on
Yes....and I DO appreciate it! There have been some very supportive people from here. Thank you all!!
Cant wait for the day Im accepting my Tony! :)

When you do, Bobby, take Stritch up with you and let her finish her damn speech!
I should! That would make some people happy.
Wow it is amazing the tangents this thread has taken! Hmmm olsd bridesmaid dresses that is a tough one. Please tell us they aren't all rejects from "Gone With the Wind". I seem to remember a society that you can join, all you did was show up (in all your bridesmaids' finery) for a dinner with others in the same boat
there was always an award for the worst dress. Does anyone else remember ever hearing about this group?
TGIF!!!
Barbara
havent heard of that....thank goodness all I have had to deal with was a tux.....
but Bobby, those powder blue numbers with the ruffles.... guys don't always have it easy!
Yeah, and guys only have to rent, while we females are stuck with bo-peeps rejects!
hi again guys.
What a day. The weather was pretty close to perfect. Went walking, did some job hunting...it's all good times!
oh, Undi, but we were separate all day!
Ah, I'm just tired and sitting at home on a Friday night.
What good am I? :)
bway - resting at home after a long day is nothing to be ashamed of - enjoy!
Good Morning!
I'm off to a service in a few minutes, but wanted to pop in to say hello.
Love all the bridesmaid dresses posts!
Judy - I DO know (and love) that song.
BT - come over and dress up anytime you wish. I have a rainbow of silk, satin and taffetta just waiting!
Mom - I've heard about groups that celebrate hideous bridesmaid dresses. I could be president of the organization, don't you think? (Not to mention the dyed-to-match shoes!) Bo Peep rejects...LOL! And you're right about the cost...ridiculous!
DG - I'd LOVE to be in that tournament. Or, maybe I could just be his caddy...you know...carry his, um, clubs!
Bwayinger and Undi - glad you enjoyed the day. It was beautiful!
Bobby - Welcome back. I've missed 'chatting' with you!
I was at a party last night in Connecticut on the water, and it was CRYSTAL clear - so we had the most stunning view of the skyline of New York. At one point they were testing the Tribute Lights which will shine tonight from Ground Zero, and it was very moving to see from 'afar' (30 miles away.).
Hope everyone has a glorious day. It's beautiful here in the NYC area. My morning will be sent at two different Memorial services. It's going to be hard, but important to reflect and remember.
Hugs to all (leaving coffee for all the sleepyheads).
God Bless America.
hey again, guys! It looks like another pretty good day outside. I'm going to be doing my favorite thing when the weather's nice: laundry.
laugh with me, now.
I'll also be walking my dog downtown to the really fun dog run at the Hudson River Park on 23rd st.
I hear you Undiscovered---I've had to pee for the last 2 hours, but the bathroom is down the hall, and that would mean I'd have to put pants on.
Oh well...
LOL! Littlefish, I clicked this to read your post - I did the same thing last night.
Okay... exit 18-year-old, once again.
Well don't I feel loved!
Actually I'm in a little bit of pain now, I better go and take a shower while I'm at it.
Little Fish...two hours and it's pants you're worried about? I'd be going down the hall in me undies, I would.
bwaysinger would go down the hall naked..who's he kidding???
If I was in my own home, I would too. But I'm in an all upperclassmen dorm, and I already have the reputation for being the little nerdy freshman down the hall---I want to make friends!!

If he did, he probably wouldn't make it all the way down the hall
