Jose - those were some mascots! lol!!
Yes - I used Dippety-Do. I had to tame my hair in my younger days. One of the things that has improved with age, for me, is my hair...I finally got it right.
I remember my first Pink Remington electric shaver - after I begged and pleaded with my mom to get permission to start shaving my legs.
Then, unfortunately, I moved on to the disposable razors - and butchered my ankles with those Flickas...
That's gotten better with age, too!
I still get to get once every other month with 3 friends to play Spades.
Speaking of gym does anyone remember the GAA, the girls athletic association? We had an initiation where we had to eat all this gross stuff like raw oysters in some concoction. My first high schools mascot was also the cardinals and my second high school's was the chiefs.

I seem to recall a 'Presidential Fitness . . .' something or other. You had to do certain things to qualify and then you got a patch.
DGrant..everyone thinks that and get some great PM's because of it...how disappointed some are because it's really not me. Don't you love mystery???

Remember the ad campaign..."What becomes a Legend most?"
Those were some classy ads.
Twister was a great game for teenagers..."accidentally" being able to touch somebody's boob or butt...

My grandfather loved playing rummy with us.
Twister. What a great game...
Gotta dash off for a bit to work on a project for Church tomorrow. Back in a bit.

With me and Twister, everyone thought it was perfectly ok for the boys to play together - no chance of 'hanky-panky' - little did they know
My friend Lusia (my icon) gets a kick out of it when I tell her guys PM me saying they think she's a Hotty. LOL !!!! Hey maybe they're gals too..LOL !!!
I remember the Presidential Fitness program in school. I was good at all the running, but really bad at climbing ropes...not a great memory!!

JFK had a fitness campaign. I remember that. Supposed to be able to do something like 100 situps and run 5 miles a day.
Him with a bad back telling us what we should be doing to get exercise. Used to piss me off. LOL

From a perfectly objective point of view - Lusia IS a VERY sensual looking woman!
Grammar school the big gym game was kick ball...I was always the last one picked...reminds me of that song "At Seventeen" by Janis Ian.
Bboobs - that's the great thing about these boards!! Anonymity is very freeing...
and yet - I feel I know you all so well!

I feel like we all knew each other when we were kids!
I remember this giant ball in elementary school gym class - I think it was called a medicine ball or something - it was gigantic, and we learned 'teamwork' by working together to move it around to 'win'.
beacon - do good work - and come back to play!
