Oooh, me too! I have a book called Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Philosophy. It's VERY cool!
A thread would be okay...but I think discussion would be much better. I just fear that a thread would be a bit tough to really bounce discussion points off of.
Thanks Katie! That is one of my favorite scenes from the 4 movies thus far.
The way he flips the wand at the end of the scene to "un-lumos" is DivaSnape at his best.

But the discussion would need to be in a thread, no? *confused* Someone already started a Buffy appreciation-type thread. It would be cooler if we did something similar to the HP6 thread and all watched, say, an episode every 3 days and discussed it afterwards.
I like the idea of a Buffy podcast. And honestly, the audience would be HUGE.
And honestly...who DOESN'T love Diva!Snape?
And while that would be very cool Tiffy, some of us don't own the DVDs. And they don't show the episodes on FX as frequently as they used to.
That's true, Kitz.
Kitzy, you dont own the dvd's yet you claim to be a fan.. **scoffs**
I think a buffy discussion would be awesome, unfortunately I'm not sure I would have the time to participate all the time..
I have no money and it's one of the series that my parents refuse to buy for me.
Scrubs for my birthday or Christmas? Fine. Veronica Mars? Just peachy. But will I ever receive Buffy, Angel, or Sex and the City? The answer is no, children.
But I have seen every episode in syndication.
Boo hoo, bitch.
None of us would have time to participate in every one. But having an ongoing thread would be nice to pop into once in a while, if not for that whole DVD problem.
Yeah, they are expensive, Kitz. The only series I've sprung for are "Sex And The City" and "Buffy". (I'm borrowing "Firefly" and "Serenity" from a friend now, but I think that'll be my next investment.) They're so expensive. It took me months to get all 6 seasons of SATC from eBay, but I got each season for a substantially cheaper amount than if I bought it retail. You should look into that!
Your parents are aware you are 20 right Kitz?
I love you too Tiff..
I got Firefly for around $40..
You know I still have never seen SatC.. **hides**
Last time I checked. But they also have me on a curfew on the weekends. My dad likes me home by 12:30. Hence, I've become VERY good at sneaking in and acting perky in the mornings so they don't know how late I've been out.
The one thing I never could have done was lived at home after turning 18. More power to you, I say.
Kitz you really sound a lot like me in your parental situation.
Glad I am not the only one
Was I the only one that had complete freedom at 16?
Wait, is it an age thing or a money thing with them?? I mean, Scrubs and VM are cheaper than any of those older shows, right??
Cam, you're so missing out by not watching SATC! My favorite show ever.
I thought it was a "religion thing" or something odd like that.
My age thing is that I think a 20 year old should not be subject to that crap, even if she lives at home.
so I've heard Tiff.. I can't justify buying without ever seeing it and I'm never home to watch it.. Maybe I will get it on netflix or something
Netflix is the answer!
Everyone netflix (has that become a verb yet?) Buffy.
If you buy it you don't have to be home to watch it. It's for whenever you're free!
I'd only seen a couple of episodes before I bought it just because it was love at first sight. Really, it's an excellent (and VERY relatable) show!
What's this Netflix thing that everyone's talking about?
Netflix is my life.. I love it.. Without Netflix I would never see movies.. Well not the new ones.. I kid you not..
Alright toots, I'm off for a bit. I'll be back in time for the results! (Hopefully.)
I will look into it Tiff..
It's kind of is a religion thing. Buffy, Angel, and SATC are "trash tv."
They could not be more wrong about Buffy.
I won't even start though.
