Woohoo I made bolognese sauce today--it came out well, and it only cooked for about 6 hours!
Well, Tiff. I know to whom you can give the extra food.
Or just put it in the toilet and skip a step.
KERRIE!
ROTF!!
Mmm...Ebby, slow-cooking is the way to go! I'm making French onion soup for dinner and it'll be simmering on the stove for hours!
Where's the sister at, Cam?
Arcada I think.. She's at Humbolt State in Nor Cal
Ebonic-Love me some bolognese sauce! and like Tiff said-the longer it cooks, the better! what pasta are you putting it on?
Tiff-I also love French onion soup-bring some over when it's ready!
Would you have to drive 12 hours? Why not just fly? Is this high school graduation or college? If it's high school, fuhgeddabouddit. (That's just my snooty opinion though.) Are you doing Vegas next month?
My eyes are teary from slicing the onions. Should start sauteeing them shortly. I've got a block of mozza but I'd rather use guyere - might need to run out to pick some up. I had some great French onion soup in, well, France, but I thought Balthazar's was delicious as well.
I'm desperately looking for a recipe I can use my Calvados liquor on. I'd rather it was for a meat, but I might need to use it for a dessert instead. Ideas? I think Plum gave me some recipes when I was COTD but I have to find them again.
It's her college graduation although she is by no means done with school.. I have a 12:30 call the day of her graduation.. It's a two show day. there is no way I can swing it..
I really want to do Vegas, but haven't really had time to look into it.. Are you up for playing travel agent to see if I can swing it?
Ouch, a two-show day? Forget it. You can always promise to attend her Master's graduation!

Are you kidding me?? It's like Christmas all over again! Gimme dates!
Yay for the new thread! Beautiful first two posts!
Thanks Cait!
And that just reminded me - Patronus needs a judge's bio!!
Scrolling down the list of contestants, can you believe how far we've come???
I've just edited post #3 to list the entire song list (aside from Round 1, which I haven't compiled yet) from previous weeks. Sorry, I didn't fix the HTML so it's not too fun to look at. When I'm REALLY bored, I'll make it bold, italicized and pretty (unless someone wants to do that for me!).
It's not Christmas all over again.. it's different.. **grasps at straws**
The actual dates are March 28 to April 2 but I'm looking at the 30th or 31st to the 2nd..
2-3 nights?! In Vegas?? Are you MAD???
Okay...fine. How many people for the hotel? (And this doesn't include the Chippendales you'll haul back. You want a car too, right? OH! I ought to send you some links to certain...uh..."acts" that you may be interested in. "The Thunder From Down Under"...*cough*)

Afternoon, m'loves.
Glad to see this thread up and running. Let's see if we can make it through another whole thread!!
Tiff, did you ever think about comedy writing? Your posts are so funny and you certainly have a way with words.
you blimp. <------- I said that so it doesn't sound like I'm kissing your a**.
Jane2, you make me blush! Too bad I don't accept compliments from unsightly fatties! <-- I said that so it doesn't seem like I've gone soft (aside from around my tummy)
Unfortunately thats all I can really get away.. I will be in the middle of rehearsal for my show.. I'm not sure how many for the hotel.. I need to talk to my friend and see what the plan is.. and if she still intends to go.

HELLO
Sheesh.
Pay attention to the attention whore over here.
I'll make it just one person then - you'll get cheaper packages if you combine air, hotel and car, and I assume your friend is flying in from a different city anyway. You can just sneak her in. (I'm guessing the hotel will be 1 Queen can fit both of you - or you guys plus a few midgets you bring back after a Circus, Circus performance.)
You have your own thread! I even left parting gifts!

Yeah, yeah, yeah. Mary's the only person who posts on it!
Although the flowers really do brighten up the place.
I, personally, was drooling over the swirl cookies and milk!

There were cookies?
*goes to look*
Oh, hey, look at that! There's swirl cookes and milk.
You see how carefully I read posts.
Hmmph! They were pictures - who needs to read??

Well, there were words in between. Besides, I just got back and had a page to read. That's a lot. *pout*
