I don't think we should ban all guns but I agree 100% that we don't need these types of guns to ever be sold legally.

I think guns for protection are fine but these types are clearly made for murdering.

I, being a rational person, thought that automatic rifles and tear gas were illegal to sell to civilians.

Honestly, why would you EVER need to purchase things like that, unless you were planning a massacre or a coup?

I feel so bad for the studios. They "leaked" the weekend box office and entertainment media reported the numbers. That's such a shame because the studios, out of respect, didn't want them published before Monday. Oh, well, they tried. How would they know leaking the numbers would lead to this?

I just happened to click on the tv , (whilst cleaning the apt). Anyway, that's It for me. No more watching or reading abou)t this story after today. The media disgusts me after the 3rd day of a crime story. ratings, ratings, ratings, money, money, money..."and the world goes round..".

IMDB is reporting (sorry on my phone and don't have a link) that Warber Bros is going to give a large sum of money to the charities set up for the victims. It's not really unexpected, but still a very nice thing for them to do for the people affected by this.

Karpel says "Dark Knight Rises" was particularly violent and Holmes mimicked some of the action. The attorney says theater goers were helpless because they thought the shooter was part of the movie. Karpel tells TMZ, "Somebody has to be responsible for the rampant violence that is shown today."
