Eric, he played Agrippa who was in love with Octavia (I believe). I haven't seen it lately but DO remember seeing his naked behind. (Also Ray Stevenson naked)

We must have different Gods. My God said "do to others what you would have them do to you". Your God seems to have said "My Way or the Highway".
I don't know, I felt like I was watching a completely different show last night. The jump in time made the episode a bit too disjointed for me, especially as it took place in the same season.
I actually wish they had cast someone less well known in Shirley MacLaine's role. She was too distracting.
Thomas really wasn't given much to do this season. He would start things, but nothing came to fruition, especially with him telling Lord Grantham about Branson having the school teacher in the upper level of the house. Like I do with every episode, I'll go back and re-watch. I know I dosed off a bit during the first hour.
Then there's an issue of continuity. I recall when Rose was first introduced, she and Anna got along quite well, so well in fact that she taught Anna a dance. Then in last week's episode, Mary asked Anna to step outside while she had a word with Rose, yet, there was no acknowledgement between the Rose and Anna (not even a nod) as Anna exited Mary's bedroom.

When it originally aired in the UK wasn't there a span of time between the episode before and the finale? Perhaps it would have felt less jarring had it been seen the way they had intended.

I watched the finale last night. I feel like this show is winding down already. I can't stand Thomas any more, the Edith story is too melodramatic (and improbable now), and Mary continues to be chased by every eligible man in the UK. But I did like the Bates involvement in preventing royal scandal and that resolution of his "situation." But, on the whole, more a yawn than ever, sadly.
