at a recent preview on the upper-west side one woman had to be carried from the theater, sobbing. i don't think america is ready, yet.

Why on earth would someone want to make a movie out of her life? It took me a few minutes to figure out who the hell Fantasia was. What a waste of celluloid.

I think Jennifer Holliday should play her mother. She can sing "Summertime" in the beginning, and the final shot should be Fantasia singing it on the Idol stage.

I'd just like to point out that the little girl playing Fantasia as a kid, Tamia Nash, is... I don't even have words for her.. she is beyone cute, super talented for her age, and sassy! I hope they let her shine :)

Just saw the trailer on lifetime. IT LOOKS SCARY.
It's a 3 night premiere. THREE FRICKIN NITES FOR FANTASIA?
Come on, do they really need to take up 3 nights for this?
Her acting looks laughable. I can't wait.

How can anyone who's still living and is relatively young have a "life story" movie? GOOD GOD, people.
What's next? The Dakota Fanning Story?
Note to TV producers & writers: Next time try to find someone who's actually lived a LIFE and not a couple of early chapters.
Or just call this one "Fantasia Barino: The First Coupla Chapters"

Usually they just start rolling the cameras with NO story to speak of.
