Hillary wants to be something of something....give her a break.
I hope we are all getting all this **** out of our system.
Oh come on! This is just joking around...jesus...
And she DOES want to be something of something! How is that by any estimate an insult?
Well, aren't we a defensive lil pup? :P
I wasn't referring to any humor. I was referring to yet another thread of us catfighting about this race--I'm not excluding myself from any of that. I'm still trying to comes to terms with some of the BS of this race myself.
I just want it over. I want everyone to just STFU--including my tired brain.
And perhaps "joking" was overstating the quality of humor...
I'm tired too sweetie...I mean...damn!
We are all tired. But don't think for a sec that I don't adore ya, pup.
Oh Marys...this is more drama than 10 Faye Dunaway films!
And I LOVE IT!
When we get to Meredith Baxter Birney drama levels...that's when we need to worry!
Hillary is not Faye Dunaway or Glenn Close.
Hillary is Patti LuPone IS Elphaha!
Sing it! To go from Oscar winning greatness to Lifetime MOW would simply be tragic!
Oh...and she lost her Birney a looooong time ago.

Hillary as Elphaba?
If Hillary is Patti, then Obama is LaChanze?
Hillary would be a MUCH better Cora Hoover Hooper...
Obviously, madbrian.
Though he does have the height to be considered Joanna Gleason.
"besides, call me a pollyanna, but i don't think that hillary would take the governorship of ny and bail in year two. she's a lot of things, but she knows how that would look."
I'd never call u a pollyanna dude but if Obama doesn't pick up Hillary this time out, she should make a b-line to Albany. It's the path of least resistance if it happens this year. A governorship of a state boasting mega-electoral votes in nothing at which to thumb one's nose.
It would position Hillary perfectly if Obama drops the ball this year at 3rd and goal. She'd be overwhelmingly re-elected as Gov of NY in 2010 and sitting pretty to spring into action again for POTUS in 2012 replete with an "i told you so smile". The Dems will maintain a majority in both houses this year anyway so the US Senate is now old hat for her.
She needs executive experience on her resume, same as Obama does now. Mitt Romney is already on the attack digging at Obama with "POTUS is not a White House internship".
No need to worry though, Hillary is far more clever than I am in all things political.
I don't think "I told you so" is a winning campaign slogan--being chastised by a candidate isn't what drives people to the polls...
She could have a decent 2nd shot if she doesn't ruin her image trying to make this one count.
If she manages to leave the race with grace and dignity, she'll be well-positioned for the next time.
yeah, and if she's not already loathed enough in the black community for daring to go against bammy, she'd then also be the woman that chased out new york's first black governor. yep, that's a winning proposal.
If Obama is elected, I wouldn't be surprised to see him nominate her to the Supreme Court.
That whole governor idea was floated a few weeks back when it looked like our new governor had sex scandals just like the old one, but he seems to have weathered it, so it doesn't look like he'll be forced to step down.
papa--
it'll be a covert operation by one of her surrogates under cover of night. the evidence will be irrefutable that he's unfit to govern clearing a path for her all the way to governor's mansion.
yeah, it's a stretch but plausible.
heck, our governor talked about sex scandals of his own in his very first address. surprisingly enough, i like our new governor. i think he might be a little too trusting, but i think his heart's in the right place. i'd like to see him finish this term and see what he accomplishes.
So, Hillary-haters, I'm afraid it's Hillary-as-VP or McCain wins.
lmao. i love it when you do that, pj. still drives me nuts when you do it to me, but i have to chuckle.
talk about a shot gun wedding...
