Well, I doubt the "Mike is gay" thing.

New prediction: Victor and his dad (Mike Farrell) are in cahoots with the whole "it's my fault, I was a bad father and Victor's always seeking my approval" crap to make sure Gaby falls for it and marries him.

Her character was just getting so well developed.

I know!! I was just starting to like her! And now she's gone?? How rude. I really didn't think Edie would go that far over Carlos. But the Bree/Danielle thing is smart on their part since they feel the need to hide Danielle's pregnancy.

SPOILERS, of course...

My guess is the series is going to pick up again in September just as Danielle's baby is born - (Bree's comment about early fall for the due date + 3 months with Lynette's mom in the house). If that's the case, since I can't see them making us watch Lynette go through chemo, then Edie probably IS dead, though I didn't buy her suicide given how much she seemed to want Travers around -- I definitely got the impression that she liked being a mother, despite her protestations -- and if that's the case, then either her death or the earlier scenes were just very poor writing.

Jason F, they could wind up doing something like they did tonight--the show could open 3 months later, but be told in flashback from the moment Carlos finds Edie. The Bree/Danielle thing isn't that much of a surprise--they stated that they were going to hide her in Switzerland on the episode when they left, and Marcia Cross went on maternity leave. Either that or it was implied, as I knew it somehow. They weren't about to come back with Danielle having the baby herself--that would defeat their purpose in going in the first place.

This should be interesting. Don't forget this past season opened six months later than the season prior, so who knows at what point they'll come back next fall.

Yes, all that and I was still bored to death. I liked this season, but what a sh-tty finale.

Edie used a pretty flimsy scarf to hang herself. I predict that next season opens with the fabric tearing and Edie falling and surviving. Also, who thinks that Gaby will get pregnant with Carlos's child?
