I'm from Cali, and people say I have a Long Island, NY accent. All my family is from NY state and NYC, and I spent half my childhood between CA and NY and my Mom is from Long Island, so that's probably what happened.
My South Jersey/Philly accent isn't too noticable until I go back home and hang out with my cousins for a while.
One of them sounds exactly like Mira Sorvino as Romy in Romy & Michelle's High School Reunion. Poor Girl!
No accent for me. Thank God I don't have an Iowa accent. However, people have told me that I have an "actress" accent.
I have a bit of a Long Island accent, but that makes sense since I live in New York.
I like to think I have no accent, but the Buffalo in me comes out if I've been drinking. Which is most of the time.
None...Nada...Zilch.
Of course, there is no such thing as no accent.
I live in Northern Virginia, very close to DC, so it's definetly not the south, but I think I have a slight southern accent. When I was visiting CA, a waitress thought I had one. I hope she's wrong.

I have that whole midwest thing going on. Whoever said that we say 'like' a lot, is very true.
Plus I have a very Chicago accent. I'm right in that area between Michigan, Indiana and Illinois. Plus my sister lives in Chicago so I visit her a lot. I just picked up on it.
I say 'Melk' and 'Pellow'. I don't know exactly whatyou would call that.
I'm Australian, but I have a weird accent. I don't sound all that Aussie, I'm told. My dad's english and my boyfriend's American and I have a tendency to adopt people's accents.
People always ask where I'm from, I tell them I'm Australian, but just a drama queen.
I wanna hear Little Fish's Aussie accent!
I guess I have a Jappy Long Island accent, the word bag comes out "beeyag" Matt is "Meeyat" and such but I lived in West Virginia for 7 years so I tend to say tahlk and wahlk, wahhter etc. Add in a lisp from braces and such and I'm teased for my accent/voice quite often. =D
You'd all have accents to me (well, maybe not parradox-error, falsettoland and wildcat but everyone else)I'm Australian.
G'day mate
I got my favorite hat (the one I'm wearing in my avatar), in Australia!
Hehehe. A guy called me cobber at work tonight. Cracks me up.
Nice hat ConvinceMe2. Where in Aussie did you go?
Ooh...might I be threadjacking? If so, I do apologise.

I don't have an accent, everyone else does. I have been made fun of by out-of-state friends for having a Boston accent.
I have a mish-mash of accents. It's what happens sometimes when English is your second language... I picked up different slangs and pronunciations from friends from different parts of the world. The underlying accent is spanish, though it's not heavy (I've worked at having as little an accent as I can)
I'm from Kentucky and used to have a horrible southern accent. I was fortunate enough to work with one of the leading voice consultants in the country (she's out of Dallas). I highly recommend her. If any of you are interested in her services, PM me and I'll get you her info.
Falsetto, I bought this hat in Newcastle.
GypsyRoseLee, where in Virgina are you? I'm in Germantown, MD and I've been told I had a Southern accent. We kind of resent being called Southern- Maryland never ceded from the Union. But everyone up at school in NY state says I have a Southern accent. And when I go to NC every summer, I pick up the full-blown accent in just a few days.
I have always thought that I have a lack of a distinctive accent because of the hyper-diversity in my area, but I pick up accents wherever I go.
At school, practically everyone is from Chicago (suburbs) or Long Island. So when I first come back home, my vowels are all screwed up- it varies from word to word.
Oh, and my mom says that when I was little, I used to randomly start speaking in a British accent, because I watched Mary Poppins and Peter Pan so much that I picked it up.
I sound just like Toto the Prawn from Muppets Wizard of Oz.
I live in new jersey and say
"wooder" instead of "waaater"
and "myaaad" instead of "maaaad"
when i went to camp people had to translate for me lol
