Years ago, my sister and I took our first trip to Italy. While walking around Pompeii, a local pointed to us and said "Bensonhurst?" Not even "Brooklyn." He was able to nail the exact neighborhood. I guess I have an accent.

bag comes out "beeyag"

and "myaaad" instead of "maaaad"
Oh yeah. That's so my voice too. I never realized it till someone made fun of me in high school for the way I said "speeanish clyaaass" (or spanish class).
Well, I'm from New Zealand so I have a kiwi accent but I've also been told I sound Canadian, which is bizarre as I've never left the country
Hee hee. Kiwi. ^________^
Well, Danny Devito told me a had an Jersey accent" but the nice paht of Joisey" ( considering I'm Canadian this is a bit odd, eh?)
gah! nobody in new jersey says "Na Joisey". It frustrates the hell out of me lol

everyone i know from every school i've been to claims i have a very refined british accent, no one in my family can hear this nor can any of my close friends, but i'm slowly accepting that it must be there. I find it ironic since i was born and raised in central jersey.
My english teacher claims to be from Connecticut and her A's are very over exaggerated (IE Africa comes out Aaaaafrica. and Happy is Heeyappy.) Do people in CT really speak that way? I've been to CT and I don't seem to recall hearing any accent really. She always tells us that everyone outside of NY speaks that way and that we're the weird ones...hmmm
apparently when i went to visit a college in boston, they told me i had a new york accent.

I used to live in Maryland, and I still have slight accent left over from living there. For instance, I say "warsh" instead "wash". I hate that I have the accent.
I guess I have a slight new york accent, my friends who moved to chicagoa number of years ago thinks I do. But I have no where near say a stereotypical westchester or brooklyn accent. My grandma has the best 1940's brooklyn accent and my dad does the long island thing where he ads er to a's (is. samanther)
