FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS or DAMAGES
FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS or DAMAGES#1
Posted: 10/29/13 at 5:04pmI need to binge watch a series and these two are speaking to me. One has Connie and the other has Glenn so it's a tough choice. Which is better?

FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS or DAMAGES#2
Posted: 10/29/13 at 5:10pmI was going to start it a few months ago but Netflix took it off and then put it back on. But then I saw DAMAGES was on there and I've always heard such great things about that, too!

The first season of each are absolutely terrific.
I'd say FNL, then Damages.

I also saw them both and they are both great. I think Friday Night Lights would have been so much more successful have it not been moved to Fridays.
I give the edge to FNL. Wonderful performances and writing----and the best looking people you've ever seen.

Posted: 10/29/13 at 5:25pmI might be in the minority but I could not get into Damages. Friday Night Lights I liked and thought was very underrated.

Posted: 10/29/13 at 10:29pmTwo of my favorite shows, Jordan!! Can't go wrong with either. FNL is the better show, hands down, but DAMAGES is trashy, dark, and wildly entertaining. Also, Glenn. Whichever one you pick, watch the other at some point too!!

Damages!!
No, seriously. I know everybody else said FNL, but for a binge-watch you can not get better than season 1 of Damages. Once you start, you will be compelled to finish all thirteen episodes - and then straight onto season 2.
Trust me, you won't be sorry.

Posted: 10/30/13 at 12:53amIf he chooses DAMAGES over FNL, then yes. He will be sorry. DAMAGES is good but truly nothing beats FNL. It's just as fun and trashy and dark, in certain aspects, as DAMAGES, but features much stronger writing and direction. Go with FNL, Jordan. There is a reason the majority here are suggesting it. And this is coming from someone who has binge-watched *both* shows.

Posted: 10/30/13 at 1:34amhaven't seen Damages but LOVE FNL.. one of the few shows that can make me cry! but I will say that season 2 is a bit odd and borders on soap operaish levels...

Oh boy, Season 2. That was before the writer's strike or after because if it was the former, what a saving grace. Between the Lyla falls for the Christian Radio DJ and Landry murdering a guy in the name of Tyra (I used to make fun of Jesse Plemons because of that because he was just so nice and polite that it was impossible to see him as a killer and then he appeared on Breaking Bad and was actually one of the most frightening characters on the show) it rivaled stuff on Pretty Little Liars. I'd almost say Season 2 is skippable because I think even the writers realized how much they screwed up there.
