Fave Idol Contestant This Season????

I'm a huge fan of Chris Richardson and Blake. I see these guys getting really far. They're a type we don't see very often on Idol in the final stages. They're hip, good looking, unique, and have of course awesome voices. They're pop stars in the making. A guy like this hasn't won yet. We need a male Kelly or Carrie. I'm excited to keep seeing them. I like Jordin Sparx for the girls, but as a 19 year old girl I get more excited about the guys...obviously.

Umm... hello! Clearly MELINDA DOOLITTLE is going to be the winner! She can blow! She has an incredible voice and a great personality. So much talent, and yet so humble. Her "Funny Valentine" last week was fantastic!

Everyone else this year is bland and forgettable.

I don't really like this season and have only seen two shows. On voice alone, I prefer Chris Sligh.

I think Melinda and Blake are great.

Melinda and Lakisha should battle to the end, but look for surprises this week. Internet polls show shocking support for some of the weaker singers, so there's a good chance someone good will be cut this week (like AJ last week).

Funny how the Idol producers generate the buzz for certain contestants with all the face time, then complain when the voting is skewed.

i love Lakeisha but i know from experience with this show that the people who have a large following right off the bat do not usually win the competition.

i think Stephanie Edwards and Sabrina Sloan are gonna sneak in and win it.

Melinda is the best singer the show has ever had.

Blake is the most innovative performer the show has ever had and has a great voice.

I also like Stephanie.

With any luck Melinda will make it to the final three and then get the boot so she will benefit from the exposure, but not be tied to those crazy AI record deals...She is clearly in a class of her own. When she started her Funny Valentine I thought, "God NO! Not that over-sung and ought to be retired standard", but by the end I thought it was one of the best renditions of that song I had ever heard. No one else comes close except perhaps the heavier woman and the one who looks like Fantasia. None of the boys has a chance in hell. Or SHOULD have, I should say.

Blake is a cutie and might very well win. Of the boys he is the most talented, very different and original and "now". But vocally not the strongest, and I don't mean powerhouse belting and mellisma crap.
