Favorite TV Theme Song

What are your favorite tv theme songs?

Mad Men - to me it's understated sophistication

Twin Peaks - mysterious, it's like the music is moving from a dark place into the light
If anyone ever tells you that you put too much Parmesan cheese on your pasta, stop talking to them. You don't need that kind of negativity in your life.

Unquestionably, Dr. Who. I'm not even a fan of the show -- well, I was when I was a kid growing up in the UK -- but it's so iconic. It was one of the first uses of electronic music on television and was developed in something fabulously called the BBC Radiophonic Workshop. The ones from the 60s-70s are my absolute fav versions. Many of them still sound remarkably fresh and modern today.

Runner up is one that can still give me nightmares. The delightfully creepy theme music to Unsolved Mysteries:
