Thanks for posting that. Yesterday, I had a telephone consult with my Pulmonary Specialist. Because of my age and health issues, I am at high risk for the virus. But I am not in a nursing facility. He explained why I would not be in the same "Vaccine Line" as those in a nursing facility. It's because they are in daily contact with many people who could possibly spread the virus to them, but I am able to quarantine at home away from most other poeple. That seems right and fair. I am next in line after health care workers and those in nursing facilities.
I am patient and will wait my turn.

Are they giving it to people who had Covid. Roxy reported having had Covid very early on before returning to say that Democrats were destroying New York but shutting down to stop the spread of the disease he had and that the Republicans still deny exists.
It's a hard storyline to follow, but I am doing my best. As an aside, how many more than the two types of diabetes forms are there?
I was surprised I was not higher up. People much younger than I were further up. It seemed to boil down to no underlying health issues and weight. I wonder it the tool calculator assumed I was no longer in the work force?
I am also wondering if people with money will be able to move up simply by paying a nice chunk of change for it. It is the American way......

I posted this elsewhere...Last week on local TV sports they said the Knicks would start this season at MSG. Gave me pause. No bubble this year? So will they get vaccinated? If so, they will jump to the front of the line as the season starts very soon and the pre-season has started. Looks like the teams are traveling. If they don't get vaccinated then why will they be able to go against the mandates? Just my random thoughts.
In cook county I’m number 2.2 million
Namo. Early on we had a mild case and we self quarantined. I stand by my comment re the city. It is now a ****pile.Dems have run the city for quite sometime now. You cannot dispute this. If anyone thinks tourists will.be flocking back after the virus is controlled I have a bridge I would like to sell you
Broadway will not be back for awhile. Unless they greatly reduce social distancing it cannot come back. Prices would go thru the roof to pay for the empty seats ..Without that what other reason would people have to come.Restaurants are decimated and will be a long time in returning. Taxes will skyrocket to cover the taxes lost by the hundreds of thousands who have left. We also have to cover the cost of bloated public employee pensions enshrined in the state constitution . The emperor in Albany did not think he would have pay them out in his lifetime and besides it was not his money
If I was 20 years younger and better off financially we would already be gone. If you wish to refute what I said have at it. It pains me to see the city now. By the way great policy called No Bail. Great selling point to tourists
Most of the bail reform was rolled back six months ago after the hysterical wailing from jokes like you.
I am behind 3.9 million in my state and almost 400,00 in my county, guess I will be waiting awhile -lol
I am behind 7 million in my state and 488,700 in my county. I wonder if there is any change if you live in one state and work in another?
Lowest spreader of Co.Vid Virus in restaurants with 1.74%. Highest is.in the home at over 7%. This from our fearless leaders own lips .An entire industry is being destroyed for no reason. Maybe he got slow service 1 time and he is holding a massive grudge..
I no longer vote in any election as I have no faith in the political system. Living under 1 party rule Kind of gets to you after awhile . Did.not vote this time and will not again.

What's the source of those numbers? Indoor congregate gathering (restaurants, where masks - by necessity - have to come off) is a huge vector of transmission. I say this knowing that the federal non-response to Covid, another thing that can't be denied even by the willful, has rendered quality contact tracing an impossibility. Too many horses outta that barn.

In perspective, my place in line is not bad. In my county, I am number 81,000. I guess, there is after all, a plus to receiving a diagnosis of kidney failure and DVT, from earlier in the year. Smooth Lover, I didn't see anywhere where they ask for weight.

Very sorry to hear about your medical issues !!

Even with the uptick, The City isn't even in the Top 50 for Violent Crime, but hey you keep being a mess. Don't let facts stop you.

They probably were looping in weight issues with underlying health issues.
I'm in a weird place being 36 with no huge health risks, but working an essential retail job. It says I'm behind 3.2 million in NJ & 48,500 in my county. The line thing they show has me about halfway down.

Thanks, Yankeefan7. The kidney issues sound worse than what it has been. The DVT, on the otherhand, has been a struggle.

You insufferable old fool, shut up, Roxy. Enough. You don’t live here, you’ve no idea what life is like here right now. Shut. Up.
I'm looking like one of the first 50%. I've never had the flu I think.

Another fine example of a BWW "legend" showing they have no tolerance for a different opinion. Just wondering, I have not lived in NY for 30 years but have a brother who lives upstate NY and several cousins that live on LI. Am I allowed to offer opinion?
First vaccine was given today, this could be the best Christmas present ever for some people.
