Mejusthavingfun, we're all waiting for the plopping sound that will indicate that you have removed your head from a$$.
In what world are you living in where this is the democrats' fault? Hastert and Boehner are practically catfighting to throw the hot potato of blame anywhere but where it belongs: right on them. They knew. They did nothing.
And, contrary to the Republican mantra, the liberal media doesn't exist. Clearly, they did not let the Democrats know; they sat on the information. That it is leaking now is because some anchor finally decided he wouldn't sit on it and that it was important.

I just read that Slate article and am in complete shock that someone thinks that Democrats wll have to play the homophobia card to get mileage out of this. I think it's ridiculous to assume people wouldn't be upset if this were between a male Congressman and an underaged female page. You think parents wouldn't be freaking out that someone was trying to molest their daughters?

Well, I certainly hope they don't play that card. As for whether the parents of a girl in the situation would be upset, I would hope so, but I haven't really heard a lot from the parents of who Foley was talking to. It still doesn't seem quite clear to me whether or not Foley can actually be charged with anything.

I would never say this was fake or staged. I think he is totally guilty. But the Republicans certainly did not leak this. Who ELSE IS THERE? So maybe you should get your head out of your A$$ before you start shootin your mouth off.

I just finished watching Larry King, and there was a woman from the CREW organization (can't remember what it stands for), but the she was aware of this on July 21st and informed the FBI, who according to her, did nothing about the situation. Then someone else on the program mentioned that some in the Republican party were made aware of this back in May.

I'm afraid that this will end up turning against gay people in general, the way things are starting to be played. Everytime Foley's attorney issues a statement, something "new" is revealed.

Leaking. Well, let's see. It sure seems like the Republican party has that particular talent squarely in their bag.
Also, if you read the myriad of articles in this, you'll find out that one of the pages from Louisiana contacted his congressman there and that the information flowed through that office.
See, all it takes is one homophobic office assistant to pass that on down to a media outlet, ya know? And, once the cat's out of the bag in a private conversation between two people, it's only a matter of time before it's not a secret anymore.
You sure do seem hopeful that some Democrat was the one doing the leaking.

You continue to make charges completely unbased. Any Republicans trotting out the "Democrats knew" defense? WE KNOW Boehner and Hastert knew, my dear. WE knew. Whose job is it to maintain a sense of decorum and control among Republicans in the House? Nancy Pelosi or Boehner and Hastert?
Also, as far as the "Democrats knew about this and it's a planned assault for the elections" argument; well, it's just you and Katherine Harris on that one, bub. Great place to be.

Listen I"m not defending anyone. I personally LOATHE both parties. I prefer the democratic party as it is the lesser of two evils.

That said, I want to know what the Democrats knew and when they knew it? This was leaked, something is not right here.

You can pair me with whomever you want. This was leaked, and holding that information is wrong.
