I am so mad. I was invited to a friend's birthday party. I have her present and everything but she did not put her address on her invitations. I assumed she had it on there because that's what you usually put on an invitation. I have called her three times but she has not called back. Whatever, it's her fault I'm not going to her party. How do you not put an address on an invitation and not pick up your phone the day of your party?
My entire body hurts.
Tomorrow night is senior night for the drama department at my school, and I'm sad.
Ugh, Mandi, senior nights suck. I was a mess at mine, and I'm a freshman!
I'm finally on the road to convincing my parents to take me to NYC! Yes!
Like two minutes after I typed that, my friend called me. Haha.

WonderfulWizard- Have you seen Grey Gardens?
What is senior night?

No. Hoping to this summer (and yes, I'm plugging it in my sig, but I want it to stay open).
Senior night is when you say goodbye to the seniors that did the shows in high school.
I feel like I should start an "I'm leaving" thread, because it seems to be the cool thing to do.
I'm watching Weeds because I love Mary-Louise Parker. She pretty.
What did you think of Mary Poppins emcee?
I'm finally definitley going to New York to see Grey gardens and Gypsy! Yes!
I had fun, but I didn't enjoy it as much as I hoped to. I love the movie; it's in my top five favorite movies of all time. I can't even express how much I love it... and I knew the musical was different, but I didn't really get how different. I was kind of bummed out that it had such a weirdly melancholy air to it. I thought Ashley was very good, and she has a beautiful voice. I thought Gavin was perfect as Bert. Absolutely perfect. He was so full of joy, and I really think he was the best thing about the show. If Raul didn't exist, I would want to give him the Tony. I just... I wanted it to make me feel like a kid again, and it didn't, but at the same time... being that it was Mary Poppins, how could I NOT have enjoyed myself, you know?
Gotcha. Still, glad you enjoyed yourself.

I love my cousin- she cracks me up.
Granted, it's her first kid so she's quite over-protective.
She started Julie (the baby) on baby food about 2 months ago (6 months old).
However, she does not buy it- she makes it. ALL.
Maybe this is done more often but I sure haven't heard of it.
She cooks/boils carrots and then blends them into...mush, puts them in the freezer and then defrosts them when ready.
Same thing for green beans, squash..etc.
She knows Gerber doesn't have any preservatives or added starch so I'm not exactly sure the point.
My cousin is not a health freak. I mean, she eats healthy but she isn't obsessive- except when it comes to Julie.
She and her husband have made rules for this child that are out of the world..even laughable. I won't even get into them...
I'm sure they'll realize some of their views are not going to work out.
It's gotta be the obsessiveness and over-protectiveness of the first born.
Actually a lot of people are doing that these days. It's not necessarily a health concern, baby food is just really expensive.
The Guilty Ones is down. Damn. I think we may have crashed the site....
I'M BACK!!!
Man it's amazing how fast things can change.
I got back yesterday from New Orleans (I had a very good time) and found out that one of my best friends who I lost contact with when i switched schools is pregnant. My mom ran into her in Target and said that it seemed like she needs a friend. So, I've been trying to get a hold of her, because nobody should have to go threw something like that by them self.
I leave for the Hairspray open call on Sat. so i hope I can talk to her before that.

I didn't know many people do it these days. Interesting
Although baby food is expensive, I honestly don't believe that's why she is doing it. I personally think it's more of a over-protective/obsessive thing- thinking that if she makes it, it will be better.
She is not rolling in money but both her husband and her have very good jobs and she has her doctorate so they can afford to buy the baby food.
It will be interesting to see how she will deal with this kind of thing with the next baby (assuming she'll have another).

I have a doctors appointment tomorrow in which I am kind of afraid. I'm not usually afraid of doctors at all but I am being sent for somewhat of a specific reason and I worry she may find something.

I procrastinate so much. I have had the entire long weekend to start studying for my exams and I haven't done anything. And now I'm stressing out.
I am officially addicted to DDR.
Six Flags season passes are amazing.

withoutlovewithoutU, you sent me a PM but I can't respond because it says you're not accepting PMs.
I have now completed my first week of my first actual (non-theatre related) job. It's pretty tedious but really not too bad. I had to turn down a (very low-paying)summerstock show so that I can make some real money, which sucks but I think I made the right decision. And again I'm at the stage where I have to decide if I REALLY want to do theatre or not.
This post was especially banal, but that's the point, right?
