It's hysterical. The GLADD nominees should be nominated for something.
What are the prerequisites to nominated for this award? From what I can gather all you have to have is ONE minor gay character and you can get nominated for this award? The Office? I'm sorry but Oscar isn't exactly a main character and it is barely even dealt with save for one episode (which wrote him off the show for a while)...and V for Vendetta? There was one minor gay character...

Judy Gold is hillarious.
Jewish Lesbians are funny.
Is this the first time that the same work has snagged nominations in the "outstanding New York theatre - Broadway and Off-Broadway" and the "outstanding film - limited release" categories? I wouldn't want to be overlooking a historic moment in the history of the Glaadies, here.
Did Desperate Housewives get a nod because Debra Monk's character said "lesbian"?
GLAAD does this because they are desperate for ANY attention.
I'm schocked there was no mention of "Another Gay Movie'..
Either Pro or Con.
Haha....so noTORIous. Makes me laugh.
The only theatres in the country are in New York and Los Angeles?
You look at the journalism and newpaper awards and you can see a glint of the actual purpose of these awards, but then categories like "Outstanding Daily Drama" pretty much assassinate any credibility these awards could have had.
They should just call them The Homos Choice Awards, give one to Cher, Barbra and Liza every year, and then go out to the bars.
They should do them like Kennedy Center honors: eliminate the categories and only give out awards for special merit.
I do think Ugly Betty, Talledega Nights, Rosie's Cruise special, Tyra Banks, Scissor Sisters and Kanye West deserve special mention this year.
GLAAD is a joke, but I am happy to see the goddess Dina Martina get nominated....she's always been deeply indebted to what she calls "the BLT community".
i think desperate housewives got nominated beacuse bri's son is gay... but they haven't touched on the subject since last season.

Thank you for the greatest laugh of the day.
Can I just say I love Justin on Ugly Betty? And at the end of the most recent episode my jaw dropped.
Rath-
Debra's character said "lesbo". Get it right, for God's sake! :)
woo [title of show]!
So basically any show/film that mentions the word "gay" gets nominated?
I remember something funny that Tina Fey said on SNL during Weekend Update: "This week the GLAAD awards were held. Will and Grace won best comedy and Queer as Folk won best drama. So better luck next year to the other ZERO nominees."
