To me they should have postponed it to tonight or Wed...at 6pm last night all the local news and weather channel were saying it would start raining at 8pm and get increasingly bad...I don't know what meterologist Selleck was talking to but he should have postponed the game
Jimmy looked horrible cause trying to catch a pop up in a downpour is not easy....fielding a ball in a mud puddle is not easy...pitching in a downpour is not easy....the reason for them not calling it before the 6th was to give the Rays an advantage because it would be more profitable to MLB if the series went 6 or 7 games...When Cole was pitching in the 6th he bounced 4 balls....when has he ever done that?
I am not saying this cause it would help the Phillies....if the Rays were out there it wouldn't be fair either...why would you want the most important game to not be played in a fair way? Some of the Rays players said, it should have been called when Jimmy Rollins missed that pop up. Now the Rays have the advantage because you know they are going to put in Price and we can't have our ace back who was pitching one hell of a game for 4 innings before the typhoon really hit.
If we lose this series I am gonna be pissed, not at the Phillies but at MLB
