Oh yay. I haven't been on BWW in like a year and when I do come back there is a Phillies post!!

Game Three is gonna go our way tonight!!! We are finally going to be able to get those men home (hopefully!). I have tickets to Game Five and cannot wait for it!!

One game away!!!! If they do it tomorrow night I think I will cry...saw game three at Chickie and Pete's...it was crazy...I was sober till the game was over..then I celebrated for the 10 minutes before it closed...I was at my state championships for band but after we performed I spent the rest of the time listening to the game on a radio (which I bought today)...all of my band kids were huddling around me to hear the game...championships took place in North Jersey and the announcer at the show would announce the score and people booed...my kids were ready to fight them...unbelieveable...I am so happy and hyped for tomorrow night!!!!!

here we go...Tampa Bay writer calling phillie fans brutual...half of this crap isn't true...my brother was at game 3 and said that there was ribbing(like telling a rays fan they still have the tags on their jersey that they bought as soon as the rays made the world series) but no one was threatening or mean...

As if the Rays actually have fans! They're all faux fans, because they're in the World Series. Real fans pack a stadium, even when their team is in last place.

I got a little teary reading this....seriously if they win tonight I don't know if I will be able to control myself...my grandfather called me last night crying again...he said he thought he would never see the Phillies win again in his lifetime(he is 82) and now they are so close (the man has never missed a game, in person or on the radio or on tv)....I want it to be tonight...I will take off and go to the parade

Thanks for the link. During the 1980 series, I was doing a production of Fiddler on the Roof, and we had a television backstage. It was SO exciting, but frustrating that we had to be on stage. Luckily, I was Perchik and had a fair amount of time to spend watching the games. That parade was incredible!
