There are no words for my joy, my dad and his father loved the Philadelphia sports teams more than anything and all I've ever wanted was for a team, ANY team to win just my dad could finally experience it again. Unfortunatley I'm away at college so I can't make the parade but I can't even imagine how exciting this is for my dad, and Phillies fans everywhere.

I just came in from the outside! they are crazy out there! champagne bursting, people climbing trees, and traffic light towers, throwing bottles. I already saw one guy get arrested and another with a huge cut on his forhead.

it's like 30 degrees out, and there are guys running around with their shirts off!!

craziness!

I am in south jersey and my street is still going nuts...people running around up and down the streets...fireworks still going off....Fire trucks going up and down streets....I still can't believe it...I am on my way to Modells to get my World Series t shirt, hat, and sweatshirt so I will be ready for the parade ON Friday...get there early it's gonna be INSANE!!!! I am so not sleeping tonight

I AM SO PUMPED...AND I AM COMPLETELY SOBER

Did they have to interrupt the last 5 minutes of Private Practice to tell us they won? It couldn't wait until the show was over? Really?

Absolutely the best moment of my life. I follow this team everywhere (Pittsburgh, St. Louis, Chicago just this year alone) so to be able to be in CBP to see the final game was just more than I could ever imagine. I still smell of champagne and beer, it's like I can't wash it off of me. The police literally had to kick us out of the parking lot at like four in the morning, and even then people were still screaming and yelling. The players and their families drove by us and pulled over and started screaming and yelling with us. Absolute insanity. Cars flipped over, fences ripped down, fireworks, streakers. Unbelievable!!!

violet, I was in South Jersey last night too because of my show! Where were you?
I can't believe I'm at work today. What a crazy night. Hopefully I can skip tomorrow and go to the parade. GO PHILLLLLLSSS!

NPG I too traveled to Pittsburgh to see the Phillies this year...did you go to all three games??? I went to two the saturday and sunday....That is awesome about the players and families

Can't wait for tomorrow...alot of staff members have already called out...they should just give us off

I'm supposed to be going to the Swiss Pastry Shop to pick up my birthday cake, tomorrow! Should be fun, since the are on 19th Street, between Market and Chestnut. I'm driving up from Virginia. Not sure what the hell I'm doing once I get to the city (car-wise).

At the press conference today they said that at the conclusion of the parade there will be a ceremony inside the stadium...so at 3pm tickets will be available on their website(phillies.com)...they are also opening the Linc and the players will make a stop there as well

violet i did go to sat and suns games in pitt. i go every year out there i love it!!!!!! Next year we already have Chicago, Arizona, and Tampa (on my bday!!) scheduled. CANNOT WAIT!!!

I managed to snag 3 seats at CBP for the celebration, tomorrow. I'll give them to my three sons. I just watch the parade on Broad Street.

I scored 4 tickets to CBP...I am going...sitting in 300 level but I don't care..I am excited...btw scalpers snagged most of the tickets and are selling them...freakin bastards...these are free tickets

NPG I too were at those games in Pitts.. I sat in right field...right behind Jayson Werth...I want to do it again next year...We put down our deposit for partial season tickets for next year
