Yeah, a lot of loose ends with the bomb. Man, I really wanted them to kiss at the end!

I was a little confused about the bomb thing at the end too, but then she was in the shower all bloody so I figured it really happened. So are we to assume the guy who took the bomb from her died?

Yes. He blew up. That's how she got the blood (and other things) on her. You didn't see him or the person he was walking towards because there was nothing left.

It's weird that they never mentioned it again. I thought it was a great episode. I also thought it was BRILLIANT how they tied in George's dream at the end. But totally twisted around. Masterpiece. This show is great.

I kinda came late into the game with the show, so I was also wondering, why is Derek sometimes referred to as "McDreamy?"

Hah...Oh man...that was intense.

line of the night: "George...stop looking at my va-jay-jay"

I went over to my neighbours to watch it and have a little GA Party. And everyone was telling me how much like George I am, which is awesome because he is my hero. I want to cameo as his brother someday. I'll settle for playing him in the Grey's Anatomy the Musical.

My friend Jordy thought that Meredith and the Bomb Guy were gonna date after, but after the explosion I whispered "I really don't think that is going to happen"

Akiva, you were completely right about the line of the night! I also thought that there might be a relationship between the two afterwards, but you bring up a very good point re: Grey's Anatomy. I thought the episode was great, loved the tie to the dream sequence at the end, loved the line "that wasn't the 'she' that he was looking for", Addison's scene where she was yelling at George was great as well. I'm sure that there is a lot that I'm forgetting, but overall, I loved it. Can't wait for next week (As always)

What was in the preview for next week?

I don't know if this episode topped last week - the supporting stories were interesting but I wasn't buying Meredith's storyline; it lost me at the dream sequence, and the ending didn't make sense (so WHY did they not mention the bomb?).

Christina Ricci was also totally underused again. The Va-jay-jay comment was the line of the night though. re: Grey's Anatomy

And again - isn't Sandra Oh the greatest??

Next Week on Grey's:
The man that Addison has an affair with comes to Seattle Grace. Meanwhile, Burke learns about Christina's secret and, after a visit with her mother, Meredith looks into more of her family's dirty laundry.

I don't know what they mean by 'Christina's secret', though.

And I was disappointed that they blew up Cute Bomb Squad Guy, too. But George and Dr. Bailey were the best part.

Sadly I have been using Va-jay-jay for years, which is why it is so funn to me.

Tiff, I know what you mean about this episode not being as strong as last episode. I think you have to think of them as one episode though. If they had kept up the level of suspense from last episode I think it would have become too much and a take you out of it a little. But yes, the dream sequence was a little much...adn did Izzie and Alex REALLY have to f**k again in the linen closet. I really don't think thats what she meant by "do-er".

What I thought was an amazing stroke of genious on the writer's parts was mirroring that fantasy lesbian shower sequence at the end. This time it was not funny or hot at all, but so sad and depressing.

Akiva

p.s...I do think that Christina Ricci and George would be adorable together Updated On: 2/13/06 at 02:52 AM

Christina's secret might be the fact that she technically has not moved completely in w/ Burke (or the fact that she admitted that she loves him), either can cause complications. Is the guy that comes to the hospital next week the one that Addison slept with? Because I thought that he was hitting on Merideth?

I'm guessing so, because he tell Addison that he misses her and that Derek doesn't love her (no kidding!). Also, the official ABC Episode Description says, 'Someone from Derek and Addison's past arrives in Seattle and shakes things up.'

wow..what an intense episode. Va-jay-jay, me and my mom had a laugh at that one. I can't belive that they made the bomb blow up, I don't think they should have. It was really sad that the guy died. But afterwards when nobody said anything about it, I was like NOBODY noticed that?! It was kinda weird. Such a great episode though. There's some really great writing on that show.

I don't think Burke or Shepard knew about the bomb blowing up (which would be weird because Burke was in the room right next to it) because Shepard came out and had no idea where Meredith was. I am eternally in love with George. That whole him/Bailey thing was GREAT. And I think the girl that plays Addison is amazing. That one scene with George was so good. She is really great. I actually thought this episode was better than last week's for some reason.

They weren't in the next room anymore. Remember, they moved to another OR and if they were going to move away from the main oxygen line you would think that they would move far, far away from it. Maybe (I mean they were able to make Ricci pull her hand out and get Grey's hand in and holding the bomb) they moved far enough away not to hear it, or maybe they didn't want to talk about it infront of the patients that were down there in the ER.

I loved the mirroring of the opening sequence and it makes sense now why in the opening where they summed up the last episode they made sure to show that shower dream scene. I am still in shock about the bomb going off. I guess it was done to show how much danger Grey was really in with her hand on it and pulling it out.

If it was the producer's goal to hook new viewers then mission accomplished. I am a full fledged GA fan now. This show is amazing!

I loved the whole episode except for the shower scene. Big disconnect: Two top surgical interns take a shrapnel-pummelled, shell-shocked colleague to a filthy locker room shower for treatment? There wasn't a sterile operating room or triage room somewhere in the facility? Ripped me right out of the storyline.

I'm sure they heard it, I'm sure they talked about it, they just chose not to show those conversations. Izzy and Christina obviously knew because you see them helping her in the shower after.

The dream sequence last week was George's dream, in which he was watching the three women shower together (and then inviting him in). I liked how this week's shower scene mirrored that and turned it completely on its head, but it did seem unrealistic as kelzama pointed out. Overall I thought it was a great episode, though.

First of all, I love this show way too much.

Second, there was a second element of closure that Meredith mentioned at the beginning of the first episode which was connected to the end of the second. In her opening sequence where she's in bed talking to Christina, she says something like "...and today my conditioner stopped working." Then, at the end of the second episode, McDreamy remembers how her hair smelt. Lavender, from her conditioner.

Maybe it's a long shot, but I remembered it.

I was so pissed at the end. I am tired of Derek's swinging emotion and feel for Grey. I thought that after that thriller, Grey may have a new beginning with that bomb guy. And what I get? He was blowed! Damn it. He is really a cute guy.

Anyone remember the guy who needed a hearttransplant? He's hot too.

Whatever, Grey deserves a better man than Derek.
