"Big disconnect: Two top surgical interns take a shrapnel-pummelled, shell-shocked colleague to a filthy locker room shower for treatment? There wasn't a sterile operating room or triage room somewhere in the facility? Ripped me right out of the storyline."

I guess I figured that in a hospital, the showers wouldn't be all that dirty, and that the only way to clean her many cuts was to give her a shower. It also didn't look like she had any huge pieces of shrapnel in her anywhere...just a couple scrapes.

But, regardless, this show is about themes, and is not meant to be a slice-of-life drama. So, if they stretch the truth to reveal humanity, I guess I'll be the first to say that I don't mind it.

Yeah she does, but I do love her and Derek together. I don't think I will ever like his wife.

And I was sad that the bomb guy died. I was looking forward to him being in more episodes. Quick question, was he the guy from the TV show Early Edition? I am pretty sure he was but not completely.

Yes, that was Kyle Chandler from Early Edition and Homefront.

I am bummed that he was blown to smithereens.

AND....if you noticed, next week.....the guy Derek's wife had an affair with arrives on the show..(not sure if just one episode or more).....this is gonna get interesting.
I don't mind his wife......I feel a bit sorry for her...she seems SO clueless......

And you certainly can't blame her for wanting to hold on to Derek.

Excellent ending to a two part cliff hanger. This show just keeps getting better. Yes, the line about the va jay-jay was perfect. Perhaps there should be The Va ja-jay Monologues.

"The Va ja-jay Monologues" -- now that cracked me up.

It was nice to see sassy Bailey. I realize that she was giving birth under some horrible circumstances, but I missed her attitude for much of the episode -- glad to see it back.

I'm wondering if they are trying to start a George-Cristina Ricci romance line....there seemed to be something there to me.....

COMPLETELY off topic: I used to have a boss named Jonna. She was a somewhat soft butch lesbian and a raging bitch. We called her VaJonna. When she would pull us all together or even individually and bitch forEVER we would call it a VaJonna Monologue. "I just got a free ticket to the VaJonna Monologues." Great fun in the corporate world.

George and Meredith have to be together. That's how it has to end up. I actually really like Addison. She seems so genuine and not bitchy about everything that has happened and doesn't seem to get jealous of Meredith. I think the writers have done really well with her character.

AH! I was at Hairspray and missed it. Next paycheck we're getting TiVo. Damnit.

Anyway, so it looks like I missed a lot, but I did see the shower scene clip thanks to The Soup (Greatest tv show ever). I thought Ricci leaves the hospital after last week, so why would she come back?

I'll have to get these on DVD. So great.

George and Meredith will never end up together....she is too shallow......and frankly George deserves much better.

I think (and hope) she will mature and see the light. They are perfect and adorable. This show is so good.

Oh, and Ricci didn't leave the hospital. When she ran out of the room, she actually ran down the stairs and hid at the bottom of them. George found her a little later.

I want George and Meredith together soooo bad.

But I also want to see Meredith and Derek together too.

Damn I love this show.

I hate Meredith...she's going to break his precious heart.

On the other hand, I love George...but who doesn't really?

You know full well she's going to rip his heart to shreads. She'll end up with Derek eventually. The sexual tension between those two characters is so wonderfully intense.

That is going to be heart-breaking. His speech at the end was so great!
