but the difference is that Izzy might/probably has feelings for George. I'm not saying that they'll be confessing to that anytime soon but the fact that there even could be mutual feelings makes this different than Meredith

I had mixed feelings about this episode. There were a lot of good moments, but the entire thing just felt angry to me. Too much fighting and frustration and awkwardness. Maybe it's just me, I don't know.

Izzie and George. Ew. Wrong on so many levels. I hope they play it off as a drunk mistake (which it was) and not turn it into something bigger. Seriously, why can't characters just have a platonic relationship that STAYS platonic. They don't have to pair people off for them to be interesting.

Poor Callie. She's so insecure. And she loses her patience with George really easily because of that. I wonder what'll happen between them. Knowing George, he'll confess pretty quickly. Also, was I the only one who started laughing hysterically when Callie told George she had a pet ferret for nine years? And wow, Callie and Addison are like twins: both slept with McSteamy, both are rich, and both cheated on by their husbands. Fun stuff.

No, you're not the only one. I got really excited about the ferret, too!!

I laughed about the ferret too, mainly cause I was in a pet store yesterday and held one. hehe.

Haha. Who would have thought?

I was happy to see Meredith get a better relationship with her stepmom. Ever since the whole "We can be your family" scene, I've been thinking that Meredith owes her.

I just keep thinking...you know for the insecure, "nerdy" guy on the show, George sure gets a lot of action! re: Grey's Anatomy He's been with the nurse (the one Alex slept with too), Meredith, Callie and now Izzie. He's running out of workmates to sleep with!

OK - they were naked in a bed together. Are we ABSOLUYTELY SURE THEY HAD SEX? They were drunk. Maybe too drunk to know for sure. Maybe too drunk to do anything. Maybe they tried, and nothing happened.

Izzie: It's so hot in here.

George: We're so druuuunk.

Izzie: Let's take off our clothes.

George: Oooh, and just to confuse people, let's get in the bed and, get this - SLEEP!

Sounds good to me, Jon.

I have to admit, even though I'm not a fan of their one night stand (or whatever it was), drunk George and Izzie were HILARIOUS.

I was just kidding about George and Addison, by the way! I was just remarking on singwendy's comment: "He's running out of workmates to sleep with!" I agree it would be very wrong. They don't even interact that much on the show!

Sydney! She was so funny last season. "Izzie McGee!" LOL.

Also...some questions I have for the writers of Grey's:
-Do you guys have something against marriage? Or are you just huge fans of adultery?
-Why is George the manwhore of the show? Didn't he say last season how he used to be president of the D&D club at school?
-Why did Callie live in the basement of the hospital if she could afford an apartment that's close by?
-Is it weird that I find angry McSteamy hotter than usual McSteamy?

Just watched it, the end pissed me off SO much.

I love Callie, I feel so awful for her. I get why George was mad at her, but I also get why she did not tell him about it. But why doesn't she just get an apartment?

Loved the Meredith stuff this episode, her stepmother is amazing, I loved their conversation while her dad was going to fic the fuse.

Christina, not surprised with what happened.

I don't like that possible chief, he annoyed me (though I LOVE that actor).

And again, the end, ew

Agreed. AND why are they living in a hotel if they could afford an apartment?

Why did Callie live in the basement of the hospital if she could afford an apartment that's close by?

Because she wanted to be thatclose so as to have first crack at the good surgeries that come in, or something like that- can't remember if it's the ep where George catches her living in the basement, or when the Chief does, but I remember that being the 'reason.'

Agreed. AND why are they living in a hotel if they could afford an apartment?

Because living in a hotel make for fun wacky hijinx! Did anyone else seriously LOL when Callie said that she uses George's money to tip housekeeping? I thought that was so funny for some reason.

I loved the George/Callie moment when they were yelling at each other and he was saying how beautiful and out of his league because Sara Ramirez completely stole the show. Honestly, her one moment there was equal to all of Ellen's "good" acting moments combined.

Yeah that scene alone made the show. I just hope that this doesn't mean the end of Callie anytime soon. I would rather Izzie leave than Callie. Izzie is pissing me off anymore.

Seriously - what happened to Izzie? I miss the model-turned-doctor who still had something to prove. I don't like this new judgemental, b*tchy Izzie. She acts like she's in high school.

After George said that to Callie, his face was totally like "oh sh*t". Poor Callie. And then later on when he was laughing to Izzie about her insecurites. As if he wasn't the one who CAUSED some of those insecurities.

Ditto.

It's funny, because I never especially felt for Callie, but after taking that "Which Character Are You?" quiz and getting her, I totally paid attention to her/felt for her. Haha.
