About the preview...basically what happens is Cristina's old professor comes to visit her, we find out she was sleeping with him while he was her teacher, Burke gets jealous, etc. Callie and George are fighting about something and Callie yells that Izzie has feelings for George. Cut to Izzie and George, presumably drunk, gazing into each other eyes. And then I choke back some McVomit. I mean, ew...Izzie and George are like brother and sister. I can't decide if that would be worse than the Meredith/George incident. Both are awkward and wrong and just...no.

Roger Rees is her old professor!! God, I love that man! I met him at Vassar College during a reading he directed, and somehow got invited to join him and the cast for dinner. he paid, which was very nice, and gave me a big hug and kiss when we said goodbye. Such a sweet guy!
going to be a very interesting episode.

Hey did anyone else's sound just completely cut out in the opening George/Callie scene tonight? I got George's "she's just jealous" in the beginning, and Callie's "let's not talk about her anymore" at the end, but everything between was nothing but silence on my tv!

Kinda spoilerish.....
As a normal girl, I totally get a little insecure about my body....really, who doesn't?!?!? When George goes on about Izzie then Callie askes him, "And that makes me..." totally sent chills down my spine. I feel like that with my boyfriend from time to time.
I'm so disgusted with the way Izzie treats Callie that I've noticed her snaggletooth recently...Izzie isn't so perfect George!!!!

The end of the episode is just gonna stir up more trouble. I can't believe next week is another rerun. I can't handle this. I need to see the aftermath NOW!!

Pinky, I know what you mean about the whole "And that makes me..." thing. Been there done that with someone before and it is horrible. Poor Callie. I'm mad at Izzie AND George. He's an A**hole too.

The sound cut out in the beginning for me too, but since my digital cable does that sometimes, I just switched to channel 8 which is also ABC and watched it there. I didnt think anything of it.
I don't know how I feel about this episode. I like that Meredith is trying to mend her relationship with her father and step mother. However, it was odd to see all the other relationships falling apart around her. Was Derek second guessing himself when he was talking to Thatcher? Even though he said Meredith was worth the effort? And WTF is up with all the residents acting like damn children? Seriously.
I knew George's comment to Callie about Izzie was gonna get him in trouble. As for the whole Izzie/George thing... I dunno about all that.
No new podcast? Dammit! Im off to read the writers blog. I still need to absorb this episode... lol

Posted: 3/16/07 at 10:14amI really liked the stuff with Meredith and her dad and stepmom. When the two women walked out of the house with their arms around each other, I melted a little. Her father is just so awkward... and that thing with the porch swing! I hope they'll be on the show more often.

It was the fact that Sara shed a tear while asking that question that killed it for me- there was a cut there, so yeah for all I know it could have been a glycerin tear, but it looked legit and I almost had to look away, it was actually a little bit painful.
So anyone think they are going to go with one of those 'so drunk that they don't remember that they actually did not have sex last night' cop-outs, like they did with Gabby/Zach on Desperate Housewives a few weeks back?

The way I see it, at least George and Izzie won't be awkwardly not speaking to each other for several episodes like Meredith and George were. They made it so they have the "but we were drunk!" cop-out. I'm just wondering if Callie is going to find out.
Other than that, I really liked Alex moving in with Meredith and Izzie. It's nice to see his softer, non-jerk side.
