I loved this episode, because it actually FELT like Grey's Anatomy! I think it made up for all the melodramatic soap opera crap they've been giving us for the past month.
I still hate the Izzie/George storyline. I don't buy their "deeper feelings" for a second. She was lonely/missing Denny, he was angry at Callie, and they were both completely smashed. That's all it was. And now, the best (in my opinion) platonic relationship on the show is ruined. Because it's so awkward and they're both confused and guilty and upset. I loved their scene in the linen closet, not because I wanted them to make out (ew, no), but because you didn't need dialogue to understand what was being said. I really felt for both of them. And um, George and Izzie should probably think about checking into the Witness Protection Program because once Callie finds out - and let's be honest, this is Grey's Anatomy here, she's gonna find out really soon - she is going to KILL them.
Also? I would LOVE to hear George's rendition of "SexyBack" at 3 AM!
"It's great that you can listen and be a shoulder to someone, but what about when someone doesn't need a shoulder? What if they need the arms or something like that? You can't just sit there and put everybody's lives ahead of yours and think that counts as love. You just can't. You have to do things."
