Let's not forget that Heath's category was going to be annonced in about 5 mintues and he did have a good chance of winning- that might have added to the nervous factor.
Also Heath totally came out in favor of a gay life style on Oprah so I highly doubt he is secretly homophobic. On that topic I've yet to see an interview where Heath or Jake try to assert their heterosexuality. Usually the host of the show brings up the "what's is like to play gay" questions (as some one else already pointed it.)
The most disrespectful/drunk person at an award show was Ryah Phillipe at the Golden Globes screaming out at Joaquin Phoenix that he owned him money when he won. I suppose Ryan is just Johnny Cash-ist.
