It made my soul vomit.

Yet I watched it. "Bet On It" was hysterical. Zac Efron leaping in to the air, jazz hands, AND a singing reflection? Disney sure raised the bar on this one.

So I am an hour into it and my mom and I both think that the original was much better.

We think all the acting is better, except for Ashley...she is COMPLETELY over the top and really annoying. Cannot stand her at all

The girl who plays Gabriella is great and I really do like her song...she and Zach got a lot better.

I was commenting too but someone accused me of bashing (not you). I'm not sure what the difference is between bashing and commenting on one's bad performance. I think Vanessa Hudgins is very endearing but my 12 year old daugther and I are not a fan of her very nasal sounding singing voice. I do see the chemistry bewtween her and Zach- but apparently they date in real life. keep watching, "I Don't Dance is on Now"!

I haven't noticed that her voice is too nasally, it sounds like most people who are younger and are not fully trained yet.

And they do have great chemistry.

She's like 18 or 19. Certainly not too young to have a good technique.

Just finished watching it (on DVR) I really liked it. My only real problem with it was the synthesized voices. They can actually sing, why don't the just let them? Bet On It was odd, but if they just let him sing it would have been a lot better.

And I was listening to her in Everyday and she doesn't sound nasally, I think she just has a different tone (and that it isn't bad).

And they may be dating in real life. I know from him being on the view he doesn't talk about it. If they aren't then they are really good at pretending!

You really don't think she sings through her nose? It sort of sounds like all of them except maybe Corbin and whoever plays Ryan sing through their nose. except Ashely, since in all honesty I can't really call that singing as opposed to just sort of talking in some sort of melody..

LOL, when he ran out on the golf course and did that spread your wings like an eagle dance move he does so much in that song, my friend and I totally looked at each other and sang "The hills are alive..."

I think they sound like that when they sing because that's how they wanted it to sound on the CD since that's what all pop CDs sound like.

...also makes it easier to lipsynch to on the inevitable screen to stage transfer? I dunno. They're retarded and they want the rest of us to be retarded as well.

They threw in some elements of "West Side Story" into that number as well. I think they were really confused where to go with it !

I love, love, LOOOOVE Kenny Ortega (his choreography anyway, not so much his direction), and watching both of these films is totally worth it to me just to enjoy his work.

Probably not, Disney is not that intelligent and probably just screwed up.

He started HSM2 in February- Hairspray wrapped in December.
