I have become a Howard addict. It didn't air where I have always lived. Best I could do was catch it when I was out of town, but then I worked so much it only ever for a few minutes. I saw the E! shows all the time, but they are just not the same. I got Sirius for Christmas and listened mostly to OutQ. The week of Artie's roast, I listened to Howard for a few minutes. That night I was painting and listened to the roast. I don't think my radio has changed stations yet. It's the best $9 I pay a month.

It is compelling radio flaws and all.

Artie is destined to die from either a heart attack, alcohol poisoning, or drugs.

Robin has to be a lesbian. I don't care how long she dates Mr. X. [and why is he called Mr. X? Who is he, the Pope? :)], that relationship sounds like a friendship.

Gary means well but is always going to be Long Island white trash. I hate the way he says "tch-wenty."

Sal is . . . .well Sal. He and Richard will vacation in Ptown.

Howard is much more complex. I wish he would dump Beth. She is appallingly annoying: vapid, sticky sweet, not that attractive, and a hanger-on. If Howard were a lawyer she would not be with him. He is basically a very ugly man who was lucky enough and driven enough to step in s*it and turn it into gold. Whenever I hear him go off on women [money, divorce, their bodies] I wonder how Beth thinks when she hears this, and how much I admire Allison [his ex] for putting up with him for 20 years. I wonder what her side of the story is. . .

No one talks about her.

I also think Robin is a bit of a phony re Alison. They were friends and she writes about her in her book. But now she says nothing about her even when Howard badmouths marriage and women who get too much money from a divorce.

I wonder. . .

Artie looks like John Goodman.

His upcoming film looks like a big bomb; it does not bode well that its release date has moved 3 times to the end of September.

And why did someone nice like Dana stay with him? Is she like Beth and f**king up the ladder to bask in the spotlight of the more-famous partner?

BTW Beth has a cameo in the flick FLIRTING WITH DISASTER.

I wonder if she will break up with Howard or vice versa?
