I'm a Ron/Hermione and Ginny/Harry. I've read some of the fan fiction, but the decent ones are so few and far between I generally give up pretty quickly. Sometimes it's awfully fun to read the really crappy fan fic though, especially the R rated ones.

I'm just frightened to read any fan-fic after being ill-advised to read some Buffy fan-fic. I can only imagine what it would be like. Haha!! Tiff that was a good one. Anyway, I'm a Ravenclaw, according to this test, but at the Warner Bros. studio tours, where you can try on the sorting hat that they used in the movie, the hat said that I was in Gryffindor. Whatever, as long as I'm not in *shudders* Hufflepuff!

Haha. I hate Harry Potter fanfic. Well wait...some of it is good, but the majority is filthy. There is this Russian guy....who draws Potter porn...it is so disgusting, I came across it one day and I was never the same.

Have you seen photos of the actor who played Marcus Flint in HP? It is SHOCKING how good looking he really is! The teeth are fake, for one - he's actually got remarkable pearls - and he's literally unrecognizable! If you Google Images his name, you wouldn't believe it's the same person.

Who's planning on reading HP6 again any time soon? I'm going to plug through HP5 again, but should be finished in the next few days. I'm hoping if a few of us were going to read HP6, we could do it at roughly the same time so the theories and speculation is all fresh.

Oh, and I also hope that Snape is just misunderstood. I have been formulating all these ideas as to how his...deed was something assigned to him, bu Dumbledore.

I am not a fan of his character, but I just don't see him as being evil.

Edit: I just finished re-reading HP 6, I think it was on Page 405, or so...but something just popped out at me as the reason why Snape is innocent.

I'll be rereading 6 in a couple of weeks. I'm almost done with GoF so I'll be moving on to OotP this weekend. A group discussion of HBP could be very interesting.

The filthy stuff can be so entertaining though since it's often written by people who obviously know have any idea what they're talking about.

Haha, yeah it can be entertaining in how horrible it is.

Have you ever read the crappy fan-fic where fangirlies meet and seduce Dan Radcliffe? That is hilarious.

Or maybe a 50 year old man meeting Emma Watson and he makes her see that "Age is nothing...but a number."

I will too DG, I've invested so much in the idea that, while he has his failings, Dumbledore generally knows what's up. I'll be shocked if he was that wrong about Snape.

Also on this reread I've really noticed how well Percy's ambition is foreshadowed.

I agree that percy will redeem himself, then die. Same with Snape. He will prove to Harry that is really is a good person by dying to save him, or something like that. Which will suck, because I actually like Snape.

I have a feeling that Harry is going to die in the next one. I hope I'm wrong, but I have a feeling that, after he kills Voldemort, he will die, from like the battle or something. It would like show his sacrifice or something. I dunno, just seems like something J.K. would do.

I still predict Harry is a horcrux and will have to die at the end of 7.

But I'll be sure to pop on here when I'm in London to see if my predictions were right.
