Now you know I LOVE me some supernatural. Those two hotties solving all kinds of otherworldly mysteries. I watch them on DVD though.
If they ran for president, well that's a ticket I could get behind.

"Lilith? What's she been up to since Frasier went off the air?"
About a month ago I passed her on 5th Avenue. She was talking to Roger Rees.

I don't know what CNN you were watching cuban, but the CNN I was watching called it a wash. And it was. He whupped her butt on Iraq and negative campaigning. She whupped his butt on Cuba/meeting with our enemies and healthcare.
The only reason it is Obama's night is that he didn't screw up and she didn't conquer him. And that's what needed to happen to change the direction the election seems to be going.
So, just be happy that your guy is gonna get the nom and let's stop pretending Hillary didn't do a kickass job last night despite the xerox comment not succeeding. Let's also not overrate Obama's applause and Hillary's boos and underrate Hillary's applause.

JRB are you sure you were watching CNN?? Anderson Cooper? Campbell Brown?? CNN political analysts?? all they talked about was how Hillary did nothing to overtake Obama and how he was extremely presidential and she once again failed to connect to the people... they never bashed her, they just gushed over obama and said that she didnt do enough... perhaps when you were watching they were saying something different then when i watched? I watched the debate on delay from my tivo and tuned into Anderson at around 10:30-ish. and then switched over to MSNBC later in the evening...
and she didnt "whoop" his butt on Cuba or healthcare... she skirtted around the issue of penalties for citizens who cant afford healthcare, and i agreed with his take on Cuba much more than I did with hers... setting up meetings with countries that we have bad relationships with should not be seen as a "priviledge" to that country... because it only inforces the idea that we think we're better than everyone else (thanks alot GWB)...
and i didnt say hillary "sucked"... as a matter of fact i think hillary clinton is a very strong debater, and at times a stronger debater than senator obama. i'm only saying that she came off very desperate as the night went on... trying to attack obama on his speeches, his "experience" (hilarious when he's been a senator longer than she's been one), and what he's accomplished in the senate (bringing up kirk watson?? come on... i was like damnit hillary, why do you make it so hard for me to like you??)...
and i didnt overrate his applause over hers... they were both receiving thunderous applause from the audience. at times her cheers were stronger than his, and at times his stronger. i still think she'll win the primary. and i think they performed about even in the debate, but because of her decision to engage in "mud slinging" he came off better and ended up walking away with the night. (he sounded sick tho? a cold maybe?). please dont make it seem like i came on here to bash when i didnt... i was just proud of obama and am glad he did what he needed to do to secure the nomination.
jrb i swear we could be friends if you'd just stop acting like i was here to fight... when i'm not.

I don't understand why you think our having a political debate affects the personal.
I'm friends with lildogs and roninjoey in REAL life. We wrastle on here about this--but it has no affect on our friendship. Friends engage in debates.
Anyway, she has him backtracking on the meeting with our enemies after provisions issue. And she did indeed nail him on the healthcare issue.

I apparently was watching the CNN channel that JRB was watching and not the one cuban was watching.
Because on the channel I was watching, there was an overwhelming consensus that "it was a wash."

There is a facebook thread that you can go to. If you would like to resume a discussion about this primary race, that would be fine.
Otherwise, shush--the adults are talking.

Well, if you are going to act like a child, I can treat you like one.
We were having a discussion, you made it all about the personal.
When I addressed that, you ridiculously "changed the subject" to facebook in this thread. Like a child.
I don't know how why it would matter if I like you or not. You are just a user name on the internet. I don't know you from a sockpuppet named Adam.
But as far as whatever kind of internet connection one can have here--I had nothing against you until you started acting foolishly.
Once again, political discussions do not in any way indicate whether or not two people are or can be friends. If I agreed with my friends on everything, I would get very bored.
And this issue is a very passionate one for all of us. So, why wouldn't we want to engage in discussions and debates on the matter?
Toughen up.

ok, if you're going to be a tool, i'll treat you like one...
i wasnt changing the subject, i was asking if you had a facebook so i could send you a friend request...
calling someone a "foolish child" is making it personal... spoken like a true clinton supporter... when all else fails, start the name calling! and if that doesnt work... cry...
i'll toughen up when you pull that stick out of your ass

JRB is a wonderful person! He's very passionate about his beliefs, convictions and relationships. That's one of the things I love about him. That doesn't mean we agree on everything, but why does that matter? Who agrees with whom on EVERYTHING? Debate and conflict are healthy and necessary in order for relationships to grow....as long as we are respectful.
CP, you have to separate the person from the politics. There are people in my life who are Republicans and I actually LOVE them, but not their politics. And that's okay!
But, really, comments like "spoken like a true Clinton supporter...when all else fails, start the name calling! and if that doesn't work...cry" are totally uncalled for, hypocritical and personal.

me calling you a tool? or you calling me a foolish child?
or does "amazing" only apply to when i attack you and not when you attack me?... please... back to politics. and if you'd still like to send me that facebook friend request, my name is Pablo Pimienta.
anyways... i think its interesting to note that Clinton used to clobber obama in debates way back in the beginning, especially the youtube debates... so its fascinating to see him really pulling his own now... i've always said he's better at speeches than debates, but he made me proud last night.
