Look--Goth won last night and we lost. Let's let him have his moment without arguing facts.
Other than Jeanne Shaheen's victory over Scott Brown, Democratic women lost senatorial races to Republican men in 4 states--Kentucky, North Carolina, Georgia, Montana--and to Republican women in 2: Maine and West Virginia. Louisiana still depends on a run-off. That's not good news for Democratic women. Then add to thatcrazy Joni Ernst winning, and it was a great night for Republican women.
Let's keep asking:
Why? And let's win those voters back.
We have to stop attacking Republican women--that only makes them more sympathetic. Instead, let's fix what's broken about the way Democrats take women for granted.
And as far as Obamacare is concerned. Let's stop arguing about it, which only empowers Republican complainers: The simple truth is: It's better for people who had no health care before and slightly more expensive for people who were covered before.
But let's stop fighting a losing "war on women" and start winning back women voters.
