Goth, why can't you answer a question? Why can't you actually back up the statements you make? I'm not asking for you to explain string theory here.

people are tired of the way things are now

But that extends to both parties.

And it should. They both suck.
....but the world goes 'round

"Goth, why can't you answer a question?"

Because your question assumes that you have the right to decide what inclusion is. Now stop asking.

Of the many things that we learned - I certainly hope our President looks back and reflects on his communcation failures since 2008 and especially since 2012. ACA is working and he needs to let the country know that!

Not for everyone it's not.

I would love to meet these gay people who wouldn't enjoy having the right to marry.

Or women, for that matter, that don't want equal pay.

I didn't say it didn't matter. The point is that for some it's not their primary concern.

Look--Goth won last night and we lost. Let's let him have his moment without arguing facts.

Other than Jeanne Shaheen's victory over Scott Brown, Democratic women lost senatorial races to Republican men in 4 states--Kentucky, North Carolina, Georgia, Montana--and to Republican women in 2: Maine and West Virginia. Louisiana still depends on a run-off. That's not good news for Democratic women. Then add to thatcrazy Joni Ernst winning, and it was a great night for Republican women.

Let's keep asking: Why? And let's win those voters back.

We have to stop attacking Republican women--that only makes them more sympathetic. Instead, let's fix what's broken about the way Democrats take women for granted.

And as far as Obamacare is concerned. Let's stop arguing about it, which only empowers Republican complainers: The simple truth is: It's better for people who had no health care before and slightly more expensive for people who were covered before.

But let's stop fighting a losing "war on women" and start winning back women voters.

"You assume every woman's concern in the workplace is money."

Actually I think Goth has a good point. Most women I work with aren't at all interested in being paid equally for doing the same work as men. What IS their biggest concern is how to get more men to tell them, preferably in large meetings, how good their ass looks in those jeans.

Let's ask Bill "BJ" Clinton about that. Shall we? It's laughable that any Democrat can say they are for women. Recent studies show Democrats in Washington pay women less. Why not start by being a bit less hypocritical.

And Republicans want to create "Constitutional" amendments that will deny members of the LGBTQ community their rights.

One would imagine that gays not interested in marriage would also not be against other gays marrying, no?

Inclusive doesn't mean everyone wants the same thing, only that everyone has the option to do what they desire.

"Why not start by being a bit less hypocritical."

Says the guy who posts articles that misrepresent and outright lie about Obamacare and when confronted with the facts, runs away from the thread, only to start another thread with more lies a few days later.

"Recent studies show Democrats in Washington pay women less."

I suppose half-truths are still true, but you seem to be implying they are paid equally by the GOP, which is demonstrably false. The survey showed:

Female Republican House staff made on average $10,093.09 less annually than male Republican House staff. That's good for 84 cents on the dollar, female to male.

Female Democratic House staff made on average $1,473.65 less annually than male Democratic House staff. That's 97 cents on the dollar compared with men.

Female Republican Senate staff made on average $9,805.85 less annually than male Republican Senate staff. That's 86 cents on the dollar for female Republican Senate staff.

Female Democratic Senate staff made on average $4,916.46 less annually than male Democratic staff. Female Democratic Senate staff made 92 cents on the dollar compared with male staffers.

"It's laughable that any Democrat can say they are for women. Recent studies show Democrats in Washington pay women less. Why not start by being a bit less hypocritical."

Congressional Republicans wanted to cut nearly a billion dollars of food and other aid to low-income pregnant women, mothers, and children. Republicans want to criminalize abortion (taking away my right to chose completely), redefine rape in legal terms, and proposed using transvaginal ultrasound procedures before women will be "allowed" to have an abortion even though it was medically unnecessary. The reason behind that? A bunch of old white men wanted to make women feel ashamed of themselves, like they were doing something wrong. Democrats don't and won't do any of those things. The facts don't lie, but you do.

Last night was crazy, but expected. It seems voters want a higher minimum wage, legal pot, abortion access and ........... GOP representation. Huh.

See, Growl, nothing to worry about... he skips right over facts and just picks other things to rail against. Not a problem...

Just because you type things in bold doesn't make them facts.

I have met gay people who don't want marriage themselves. HOWEVER, they agree that there should be a CHOICE-just like straight couples have-about whether to marry or not.

And women want equal pay (lord knows I do) and equal/fair treatment in the workplace (I speak from personal experience).

"Just because you type things in bold doesn't make them facts."

Well, that is seemingly the same study you used to say Democrats paid women less than men. I merely included the GOP findings of the same report, for context.

So, only your half were the facts?
