49 years ago today, Nixon resigned. What fun it has been since.

Woodrow Wilson was a racist.
I think it's kinda sad that a country that declared independence from the tyrany of the British crown; published a document including the words " We hold these truths to be self evident that all men are created equal: and almost 250 years later does not treat all people as equal.

How about a show that looks to the future? Elections have consequences. When Marjorie Taylor Greene joins Trump as VP following their 2024 election victory a new fight ensues between titans on the right. Trump loyalists, Vladimir Putin and Elon Musk, are ensnared in the battle that rages from Moscow to a small golf course in South Florida. The far-left group Antifa is suspected in an audacious assassination attempt that leaves everyone including Tucker Carlson searching for answers. The path eventually leads to an old man who grew up in the swamp and has a special relationship with alligators.

The harm the TERRORISTS did twenty two years ago is irreparable. May the nearly 3000 innocent souls rest in peace.

The two things are true. One does not contradict the other. George W. Bush used 9/11 as a launchpad for his own terrorism. Inexcusable.

This is obviously true. Sutton, I know I've disagreed with you in the past, but I certainly respect your contributions on this site. What part of what Jay said do you disagree with? Just the timing?

Thank you, I respect your contributions as well. George W Bush could barely read and he was elected President because of his Father. He had no experience with this and had been POTUS for less than a year when this all happened. So, he did the best he could with what he had, we had no choice but to go to war. You don't f*ck with America, we will literally kill you. It would not have mattered if a Democrat or Republican was in charge when this occurred, the result would have been exactly the same.
Long after he was gone, the war went on. So, he was just a blip with that entire situation and our wonderful President Obama was there when he threw Bin Laden's ass into the deep blue sea. His administration did most of the work regarding the War but it had to end sometime and sadly fell on Biden to make that call. Rape 45 didn't have the balls to do it. Regardless of who it was going to be, people were going to die and it was going to be very messy.
But only someone as awful as Jay would blame the American President of the United States for terrorists from another country murdering 3,000 people. Disgusting but not surprising.

Lost one of my childhood friends in this attack, thank you for your thoughts/prayers.

Where did I blame an American President for 9/11? I don't recall doing that. Probably because I didn't.
I blamed GWB for his own actions, the consequences of which we are still living with today.
As for timing, I was reflecting on the legacy of these horrific events on their anniversary. What's wrong with that, kdogg? Surely it is more disrespectful to the victims to gloss over these facts and pretend their deaths had no consequence.

Heartbreaking scenes in Libya today. 20,000 missing. Homes washed away.
How much responsibility for this does the "wonderful President Obama" share? The failed state that exists today is of his making. Does this even occur to anyone? Sad.

I didn't have any problem with your post; I was just trying to find out what part Sutton disagreed with.

Sutton spews hate at me no matter what I say, it's probably kinda pointless searching for any reasoning behind it.

How can Joe Biden and Anthony Blinken just unquestioningly write a blank check for Netanyahu to commit war crimes? The blind loyalty is undeserved. This is not justice.

I was called a despicable piece of nothing for starting this conversation over a year ago, but moments like now remind me why I did. American history needs to be remembered accurately and in full detail. Lessons need to be learned for progress to be made. How many Americans even know who Curtis LeMay is? I'm sure his ghost is smiling tonight. What an evil evil man, deluded by the grandeur of American superiority, unable to conceive for a moment that we could ever be wrong.

Someone else would have been on our money and someone else would have an eponymous capital city. I don't know if someone else would have won the war, but would we really be that much worse off if we were part of the United Kingdom?
Let's not blindly honor our presidents. That's not patriotism, it's brain-washing.

What good is it to urge restraint, but also promise unending support even if restraint is not shown?|
Kdogg, I think it is unlikely that America would have ever become part of the United Kingdom. Colonies only existed to be pillaged, not to become equal. The UK only came into existence in 1801, and the remaining colonies were not invited.

Is Israel and Ukraine more than we can take on, the President was asked.
"We're the United States of America, for God's sake", he answered, "the most powerful nation in the history of the world".
What kind of egomaniacal hubris is this? I know there's an election next year, but seriously. Worrying.

Joe Biden is an idiot.
If he wants to change my mind, he can start by telling B Netanyahu than indiscriminate murder is not okay, and America can not tolerate it.

George W. Bush, arguably the worst president ever, even worse than Trump, threw out the first pitch of the World Series yesterday. How quickly we forget.
