From the BWW Status Thread:
"We didn't kick PG and tommy out the other day. Although there are some guys we might ignore"
Thanks for not kicking me and PG out. I have far too much respect (and fun w/you lovely ladies to snark at you).
Keep warm and Keep your powder dry.
XOXO.

Ughhhh the internet on my computer at work isn't working! So I'll sporadically be checking in on the communal computer at the abandoned desk all day LOL
And tommyboy, feel free to drop in anytime. God knows we could probably use a little testosterone every once in a while!

You mean I'm not manly enough for y'all anymore? Damn that's a heartbreaker... D:
(Note to self: could posts like this be the reason many posters think you're male? Consider this in future...)

Good morning girls! I am kinda stressed at the moment...
I am going to this board meeting tonight to try to stop the school board from destroying the school I work at (and graduated from). The school is a really small (265 kids) middle school/high school that is democratically run, and the board is trying to phase out the middle school to "save money" (really the superintendent doesn't like us). It makes me sooo mad because it's not like the middle school program and the high school program are separate things... a lot of times they are combined (like with the show I am working on). The kids who are middle schoolers at the school, well, a lot of them would not do well at "normal" school.... the board doesn't care about the kids, it's all about the money.
Sorry for the rant, it just makes me upset that something so good is being torn apart!
"If we don't live happily ever after at least we survive until the end of the week!" -Kermit the frog "I need the money... it costs a lot to look this cheap!" -Dolly P. "Oh please, Over at 'Gypsy' Patti LuPone hasn't even alienated her first daughter yet!" Mary Testa in "Xanadu" "...Like a drunk Chita Rivera!" Robin de Jesus in "In the Heights"
"B*tch, I don't know your life." -Xanadu After that if he still doesn't understand why you were uncomfortable and are now infuriated, kick him again but this time with Jazz Hands!!! -KillerTofu#2531I enjoy being a girl

I fixed my internet! The stupid cleaning ladies knocked some cords out. Which was actually kind of a blessing in disguise because I got a crap load of work done! LOL
Welcome everyone who's new to the thread and welcome back Lucious! I feel like it's been forever since you've been posting!
Wellll back to work!

Good morning ladies!!! I hope you all are having a wonderfully chilly day. I woke up at 10 (in true slacker form). Today I think I'm gonna drink ungodly amounts of hot tea and try to stay warm. Here in NC it's up around 32 degrees, so I can't imagine what you guys are going through in the single digits.
And a huge welcome to Speller and Sooner, it's nice to have more awesome girls join us over here
Thanks for not kicking me and PG out. I have far too much respect (and fun w/you lovely ladies to snark at you).
Aww shucks Tommy you're sweet
. You, PG and Taz are welcome here anytime.
Oh and Luscious I actually got worried about you for a second cuz I hadn't seen you in a while. Glad you're back :-P

Welcome to everyone who's new!
I have a massive midterm tomorrow, but I...can't...study. I can't do it. I'm so excited for spring break that I couldn't care less about anything else right now. Baaad.
withoutyou, I'm really sorry to hear about your school situation. Academics are always about money, sadly...I went to Catholic school, so I remember this well! Go in there tonight with a positive attitude and make them hear you out.

Awww you guys always can bring a smile to my face. Thanks!!!
Yeah I was super busy with my kids show at church this weekend. (I stayed up til 5am finishing one of the costumes and then when I looked at it later was like why in the world did it take me so freakin long?!!)
I just got asked to step in as ASM for a show that's opening in two weeks, because their other ASM dropped out. I'm quite excited about that. The woman who asked me was my SM on the last show and I really wanted to impress her, so I guess I did! YAY. But now I think I'm really overbooked. I'm the ASM for Falsettos which will open in the middle of May, while costuming Jeffrey which starts auditioning while Falsettos is running and I have to have the costumes done by end of April cause the director wants them a full month before opening, while maybe doing hair and make-up for Follies which runs mid April to the beginning of May and then doing marketing and visuals for a one night musical review at my church (which I was supposed to perform in, but can't now, cause I have to be backstage at Jeffrey). God, I'm tired just writing that. And yet I still really want to fit in another improv class. I think that I'm crazy.

Geez you've been busy Lucious!

Jag, I survived Catholic school too! I remember if you lost your ID it was $25 to replace, which is RIDICULOUS! And people lost them all the time because we had to wear them around our necks on a lanyard, so they'd just rip off and break randomly. I probably spent about $200 just replacing my lost IDs. Then I got to college and it was free to replace your ID. Damn you Catholic school!!! (Well not really LOL) But I have to admit that I miss my school uniform sometimes and break out my old knee highs on occasion.

So sad! ABC cancelled "Life On Mars". My avatar weeps along with me.
Here's the link to petition the cancellation if you are so inclined:

Tommy, you are welcome here any time!
Withoutlove, how can they phase out the middle school? Where are they going to put them?
So what's going to happen on "part 2" of the final rose? Is he now going to dump Molly and decide he should have picked Jillian? Friggin' tool.

Do yourself a favour: get a Jason O'Mara poster for your bedroom wall, then buy the original BBC series on DVD and put this abortive attempt out of your head. One day, you may thank me.

Ah-ha!!! So BB & Jag you two went to Catholic School...that explains a few things. I've come across a couple girls that went to Catholic High Schools, and boy were they CUH-RAZY!!
Not in the "Oh dear god you need to be committed" way...but the "Good lord I can't believe she talked me into this, especially with all these people around" good/naughty way. Ah memories...*smiles fondly* *sigh*

LOL! Interestingly enough, I was always kind of bad, even before I went to Catholic school (which I did just for high school). I was already bumming smokes and swearing up a storm in seventh grade. My family isn't remotely religious, I just chose to go there to avoid the STD-ridden public school in my town (3rd highest rate in the country says Oprah!). It was a pretty liberal Catholic school, all things considered. But yeah, there were some girls at my school who went crazy being there. In my case, it's just in my nature! Haha!
I will still talk people into doing inappropriate things though, that's for sure.
Stockard - methinks tonight he'll come out. That man is teetering dangerously on the edge of gay.

Same here. My public school was GROSSSSS. And there was a huge mortality rate of kids getting high and dying in car crashes. I swear there were AT LEAST 3 each year! It was truly ridiculous. A lot of kids also killed themselves, which is truly awful. I just didn't want to go through my teenage years and watch my friends die, so I chose Catholic school.
And clever, I'm sooo jealous. Those sounded amazing!!

Posted: 3/3/09 at 12:28pmMy kids are in Catholic school (even though I am not Catholic), Our public schools are HUGE and I think there are 9 kids in my oldest sons class and 13 in the younger one's class. You can't beat that kind of personal attention (plus they have scary Sister Jean as their principal! All the kids hate her - it's like a group bonding experience)

I went to Catholic schools for 12 years. I'm still recovering. And I graduated HS 20 years ago. Yikes.
I also love Kathy Griffin's bit on Catholics and how much they drink and curse.
