Oh goodness, what a Monday...

Dell sent me a comfermation email saying they had canceled my order as per my request four days ago, so I figured it was done with... well, they shipped my order and charged my card anyway!!
*insert lots of swareing here*
So I sent them a email saying that they had majorly screwed up and I wanted my money back, and they sent me a responce saying that they were sorry and not much else, so I wrote back asking how I was going to get my money back and the sent me the SAME EFFING EMAIL BACK!!
*insert more swearing*
I tried calling once already and couldn't get through... F**k my life.

tofu, one of my best friends ALSO feels that way about "lesbian." Must be more common than we all thought! She usually just refers to herself as gay as well. Too bad that movement to change the term to "gayelle" never caught on...

Holy F*CK balls am I glad I went out this weekend!!!!! I got a little tipsy on Friday at a small "get together" at a friend's house. Then I went shopping in Raleigh on Saturday and picked up a new pair of Chuck's (Gray and black argyle with broken hearts in the pattern...so cute!!) I thought I deserved a little prezzy so I had a "Me-Day" and thank GAWD I did because I don't think I'd be nearly as calm to write this as I am right now if I hadn't.

Today I took the big F*UCK YOU!! like a big girl, handed in my staff key, cleared my mailbox, said my goodbyes, and packed up my headphones and officially left the building after having the "Please come in and take a seat" sit-down talk. Due to budget cuts and financial strain on my station, and other stations in the building, I got "laid off" along with another DJ from the Classic Rock station. He was one of the nicest guys at work even though he looked scary as hell (tattoos, gauges in his ears, etc...) Last year when I first met him at an air show in Cherry Point the first thing he did was shake my hand and offer me a beer and a hit from the helium tank we were using to blow up balloons for kids (which I took ). Ahhhh memories. He was soooo awesome...in that I'll probably commit a felony sorta way!!!!

I think I ran the gamut of emotions today after the whole ordeal. At first I was really sad and crying as I was saying all of my goodbyes to the people I actually liked and cared about, not too many. Then I was SUPER pissed that they couldn't just call me at home and tell me. I had to drive to work today, which is an hour away from my house, just so they could let me know that I don't need to come back tomorrow? WTF? That's a half a tank of gas that I'm not gonna get back. After being pissy about that I calmed down and I've been pretty mellow since this morning. Although, I was drinking a while ago so that might have a little something to do with my relaxed state. And before anyone says anything...yes I drank in the morning, don't judge me

I'm trying to look on the bright side. Seems like you'll be seeing me a lot more around here now. YAY!!! I've already spoken to my grandparents and they've agreed to let me have my old room back at their house in May, after I pay this month's rent on my apartment. Free rent and free food so I'm not completely f*cked, just enough for it to hurt a little when I sit down HAHAHA!!! I think I'm going to become a connoisseur of Ben & Jerry's soon enough, which can't be all bad. ^_^

After college most people have a chance to chill out and just soak up life sitting on the couch, I never really got that chance because I've been working "somewhere" since I was 14. Now is finally my mellow-out time and I'm definitely gonna use it...so it's all gonna be fine. Thanks girls!!!
