Oh Stockard, thanks. Talk about goofy discussions-Hello!
Yum!
I had a half a ham sandwich and some baked lays. Which basically taste like cardboard.
Oh Maisie, how was date night? Did you have a nice time?
Clever, I hope you enjoy In The Heights. I really want to see it!
All this talk of food makes me want some Arby's. I love those Beef n Cheddar sandwiches. Yum yum! I would also like to admit here that I bought a giant box of Ding Dongs at Sams last week (for my kids lunches) and I have eaten a pack of them every day for the past 5 days. I am addicted to them.
Jane, my hubby had lasik about 5 years ago and he loves it. He said the best is being able to see when you first wake up in the morning. We watched them do the surgery - pretty nasty looking...
These sunglasses gave me a chuckle today. thought I'd share...
Dan-I'm glad your husband had it done and is happy! I guess if I didn't look so horrible without glasses, I'd do it.
Alright ladies...I gotta go get ready to hang out with the 18 year old. I have no idea what we're gonna do. Talk to you all later!
No smooching!
Those are funny, Jane!
You know what I miss? Roy Rogers. They had the yummiest chicken sandwich there.
Masie, I'm sorry date night was weird.....
Stockard, I'm in NYC from April 8 - 13. But we're back through the 19th! We can talk about this more off-line. (We like to take the ferry to Leesburg.)
Can we meet for lunch or something while you're here?
emcee where are you? Are you in DC or NYC?
Masie, I like my hair alot better today after doing it myself. I like that the bangs are long, but at the same time it means I'm going to have to get them trimmed like once a week or something. I'm afraid to cut them myself!
Man, I'm not really a girly girl either. I like putting on dresses and make-up and cute shoes, but only *once* in a while, and given the choice, I would totally wear jeans and t-shirts all week long. I'm very bitter that my current bookshop will not allow jeans. D:
I just went for dinner at my sister's house. I'm really not sure if I love or loathe my nephew. He's frickin' adorable, but he's so MESSY. There's always something coming out of him, be it drool, dinner, vom, poop, pee, bogeys, you name it! I don't think I'm a germaphobe or anything, but the very last thing I want is for a soggy creature to open its mouth as wide as it can and then GLOM onto my face. D:
Okay, I love the bebbe. He's too freakin' adorable for words. But he's very VERY messy. XD
Em, are you talking to ME?
If so, the answer is "YES." Actually, I'll be there for a week by myself in March. We can do it then.
I was, and that works too! I'll be around. I am officially unemployed, so, heh.
Oh, sorry (about the unemployed thing. Does that mean "No Wednesday matinees" or does it mean "For once, I can go to Wednesday matinees"?))
I don't care though. Even sharing a hot pretzel with you on a park bench would be fun.
It's alright - both of my previous jobs were things that I knew were temporary when I took them. It has nothing to do with the economy, strangely enough!
It means "for once, I can go to Wednesday matinees!" I'm actually really amused by Wednesday matinees. I don't know why.
