Maisie I don't know if you can pick me up in SC, but then again I've been wrong before.
Maisie - That's about the age of the kids I work with in Grease.... have fun with their spazziness!
"If we don't live happily ever after at least we survive until the end of the week!" -Kermit the frog "I need the money... it costs a lot to look this cheap!" -Dolly P. "Oh please, Over at 'Gypsy' Patti LuPone hasn't even alienated her first daughter yet!" Mary Testa in "Xanadu" "...Like a drunk Chita Rivera!" Robin de Jesus in "In the Heights"
"B*tch, I don't know your life." -Xanadu After that if he still doesn't understand why you were uncomfortable and are now infuriated, kick him again but this time with Jazz Hands!!! -KillerTofu
I always have fun with kids that age as well! They're just so full of energy!
Welp folks, I leave for Buffalo in the morning! I won't be back online until Sunday, so I hope everyone has a great weekend!

Good morning, ladies! It is a semi-peaceful day in the bookshop. I have things to do, but I don't want to rush them and spend the rest of the day bored, so I'm posting here at the same time. XD I resolve to be far less whiny today; sometimes I just want sympathy, so I fix my sights on where I think the most sympathetic people are and go have a sulk. My whininess speaks volumes about your loveliness. :3
Hope you're all in bed getting a good night's sleep, and I shall see you when you emerge! :3

English bookshops are fun places to browse in. Which city is yours in?
So I'm looking for another station to hang my hat.
Tofu, there's an opening on 96.5's morning show here in Philly. You could totally move here LOL
Alas, I'm not in a city, merely a town, about thirty miles west of London. There being a dearth of bookshops in the area, I won't get more specific in a public forum.
I am currently eating delicious peanut butter sandwiches and drinking delicious apple juice. It's a slightly late lunch I have, but I do it on purpose to make the afternoon seem shorter. :3
Happy February 14th! I couldn't wish it on a nicer bunch o' gals! ;D
Hey everyone! As for Valentine's Day-it's just another day for me.
Planning to go to the gym, an errand, then I'm cooking something. that's it I'm afraid.
Thanks Maisie! Yes, I took it. Yesterday.
Jane- I always love your photos.
Maisie- When do you see Blakey? :)
Tofu- I'm so jealous. I miss that stuff so much. I'm wanting to get into voice over work. But I know the radio biz is becoming less and less secure for jobs. My former program director is the PD at a station in Alabama now and right before Christmas the owners came in and fired almost everybody. At my old station the owners fired a guy that was loved by the community and had been there for 10 years. And he was young so it's not like he wasn't hip anymore. And with all the voicetracking these days...it's a tough business right now.
Anyway...now on to something a little less depressing. :) My friend is here and we're going shopping for wedding dresses today!! Fun! I'm helping her plan her wedding....this gonna be fun!
Happy Valentine's Day ladies!
Thanks so much, LL! have a great day~
Happy VD everyone!
Again, Jane, love the pic. This is getting redundant!! Do you ever take a bad picture? lol
Stockard, is your Mom in town yet?
clever, her flight gets in at 1:40......
I'm currently eating a fattening sausage egg and cheese bagel from Tim Horton's.
It'd be kind of funny if you showed up in rain boots and a parka LOL

Thanks for the heads up BB. That actually doesn't sound half bad, since I was born in Philly and a lot of my family lives in the city.

Luscious, you have no idea how much I absolutely abhor the word voicetracking!!! To me, that word just signifies the Devil mocking me saying" Why the hell didn't you go into medicine?!"
UPDATE:
Well paintballing was a BUST!!! I seriously don't know WTF I was thinking. Ok, so as we have all established we're all a bunch of girls and as such I stupidly did not dress correctly for the occasion. A lot of my friends wore lose jeans or overalls, tank tops, t-shirts, etc...But me? Oh no. I HAD to be the cute one in shorts, an American Eagle "T" and sunglasses. I had zero strategy except to be cute with a damn gun!!!
The second I stepped out onto that open field...I got friggin' shot in the right calf!!! Lemme tell ya...that "Some Bitch" hurt somethin' awful. It was blue paint and clashed with my ensemble. Then I came to the shocking realization: "Wait a minute, I'm a f*cking GIRL!!!" So I humbly sat down on the bleachers and waited for my friends.
It was comfortable outside at 65 degrees but of course the sky looked threatening and started to rain. Thank god. I just wanted to come back home and clean my leg. My attempt at being "quasi-manly" today sucked-ass. Oh well back to my Barbies and Ina Garten.
