The only time I went paintballing, they gave us coveralls to wear. It was rainy and muddy and I thought it'd be a bust, but after you've rolled in mud once, you don't care anymore and hurl yourself around with gay abandon. It was AWESOME. I think I'm going to have to get out and socialise with people more, if only to find some people to go paintballing with. I have a hankering for it now. :3
tl;dr - I like paintball, and how come they didn't give you coveralls? D:
Tofu, I don't think being "quasi-manly" is a state anyone should aspire to!
First day of vacation and my little man is sick. I feel so terrible for him. Today was supposed to be Disneyland, but he said, "I can't go. I'm sick." That would be like me turning down the opportunity to be locked in a room for 5 hours with George Clooney and unlimited glasses of my favorite champagne. (Actually, I need to find a younger replacement for George Clooney. Any suggestions?)

Weez, I don't know why they didn't gives us any. I didn't realize they were supposed to. A friend of mine set it up for us and he never mentioned coveralls. But now that you describe paintballing that way, I might have to give it another chance. It might be more fun the second time around.
Men are like fine wine; you don't *need* younger versions, 'cos the older versions are just fabulous as they are.
I'm into Jeffrey Dean Morgan at the moment. Will a mere 5 year age difference do? My other men of choice at this precise moment are Adrian Pasdar and Kirk Acevedo, and *that* reminds me I still haven't watched Fringe this week! I shall do so now!
I met Adrian Pasdar years ago in Philadelphia, as a matter of fact!
Weez, I like the way you think. (I was just trying to "think" like a man. )
I have a friend who went paintballing and got shot in the heck. He had a welt the size of a golfball for months. That's why I never did it!
"Again, Jane, love the pic. This is getting redundant!! Do you ever take a bad picture?"
Thanks clever-of course I take bad pictures. Ask any serious photographer, and they'll tell you that we delete about 90% of our images!
Well, I made some beef goulash. Hmm, it was ok but this recipe made only about 1.5 portions. I must have done something wrong.
Hey tofu-sometimes I feel quasi manly! I don't mind it. I think for some girls it's a way of life. Not me, but for some, and it's ok.

Believe me Jane it's sooooo not a way of life for me. I tried to be tough while out with my guy friends firing balls of paint at me. But it was an utter failure. I feel like I should be at an "anonymous meeting" standing up in front of everyone saying: "Hi my name is Tofu...and I'm a girly girl..."
My friend who got the paintball welt was a guy, BTW!
Oh god I love Fringe. XD Gene the cow was back after several weeks absence, I *totally* managed to spot Michael Cerveris in his regular split-second cameo, and even though Agent Francis has yet to be face-down in a pool of his own blood (I have a thing for woobies and feel Agent Francis should be the woobie) he's so damn pretty that it just doesn't matter. :3
Jane, your photographs that make the grade are ridiculously awesome. You've got such an incredible striking contrast going on in this one! Look at that *sky*! :3
Weezie, I was just about to post to you that I did the iTunes thing, and I'm never sure where it's going to show up, so if anyone sees it, let me know, thanks!
And thanks for liking my photos, Weez.

I love being a girl! I love being able to care about what I wear, being able to give birth to beautiful children (it'll be at least 6 for me...LOL!!), and having boys wrapped around my finger! (Well, hopefully not wrapped around too tight...I'm only 13!!LOL
This manly talk has made me to think about how attractive some androgynous people are. Well, at least in my opinion. People such as David Bowie and Annie Lennox. I'm going to try to think of more.
I used to wish I had that androgynous look, but I'm much too feminine.

OMG me too Jane! I used to really really really want a Peter Pan haircut! Now I'm in love with having long hair haha. But I still kind of aspire to be Peter Pan...I have a weird obsession.
Jane, I've noticed that almost all supermodels have androgynous faces. I think it's technically so their faces don't distract from the outfits they're displaying, but it also kind of gives them that otherworldy... look.
Also... Tilda Swinton, definitely!
I think it's mainly because of their bone structure, Schmerg. Models must have pretty prominent bone structure in order to photograph well. I think you're right about so many of them looking androgynous. Some really gorgeous women have faces (and bodies) too rounded and curvy to be models.
Just got back from seeing Coraline..wow GREAT movie.

Jane, I've always had a thing for Annie Lennox ever since the Eurythmics!! And Jackie, that trainer from Bravo's "Workout" isn't bad either.
Oh definitely, tofu!
