Yeah, he watched Blue's Clues too.
So Masie, guess what Henry built at Build a Bear today? A turtle!
Awww, I used to love Build-A-Bear! I have a Build-A-Bear koala named Agnes who wears frumpy clothes and cats-eye glasses. She's a secretary for my sister's glamorous male koala, whose name is Samuel, and she secretly lusts after him.
MY eye candy is provided by Blue's Clues now that "Joe" had to take over for his dearly departed (and annoying) brother Steve.
And in my extremely evolved and sophisticated opinion, I must aver, regarding Arthur, that DW rules.
That's funny that you named your bunny, bunny. Henry's turtle is named Turtle.
I cut my finger chopping red pepper and it's throbbing and I'm having issues typing. Ouch.
Miss P, I think DW looks like Melinda Doolittle from AI.
chili!
I'm making cornbread too. I'm pretty stoked....LOL
Stockard, do you make yours avec or sans beans?
Have fun Masie!
Jane I make it with kidney beans. Although it would probably be fine without them too.
More chili questions Stockard Do you use all chop meat or some chuck steak? Do you make it hot or mild? Do you serve it with a topping, like cheese, onions, sour cream, etc?
Just bored and curious!
I'm going to watch a movie at 7 over at my friend's screening room. We're either watching Cadillac Records or the Wrestler.
Jane, I have a recipe from Cook's magazine I use. It's pretty easy. You just saute onion and red pepper with spices and garlic. Then you add ground beef and cook that with it till done. Then tomato puree and diced tomatos (I use the chili spiced ones so that makes the chili spicier) and the beans. I simmer it covered for an hour and then uncovered for an hour.
It's fairly spicy. But I like that.

When on earth did everyone on this thread get A.D.D?! LOL!!
To bring this whole shin-dig back full circle I enjoy my chili with lots of cayenne pepper while watching iCarly. Sam really is just plain funny. I used to watch Ned's Declassified... but then I felt weird cuz I was about to turn 21. Now I don't even care how old I am still watching Nickelodeon and Cartoon Network.
Does anyone else get the Boomerang channel with all the classic cartoons? There's nothing like a marathon of Huckleberry Hound, Josie and the Pussycats, Top Cat and Scooby Doo with some peanut butter Cap'n Crunch on a Saturday morning.
lol tofu. You got it right with ADD with me!
Stockard-that recipe sounds good. And easier than mine. I don't make mine very hot and spicy at all because I can't handle it. I use both chopped meat and chuck steaks, no beans. Now I'm in the mood to make it!
I'm about to barf. I made a lemon pound cake. It never would get done. I cooked it an hour longer than the recipe said. Finally took it out and it still feels and tastes raw. yech! that's why I need chili right now.
I should cook something. I think I'm too sleepy to be trusted in the kitchen, though. I got like four hours of sleep.
tofu, I think Sam is funnier than hell too.
Jane, it is really an easy recipe. And you could adjust the spices to meet your non-spicy needs.
Mmmm chili sounds AMAZING right now. I need to go make something to eat, I just got my butt whooped in a dance class LOL so now I'm starved!
I made banana bread yesterday and it came out so good! It was made with cream cheese. YUM!
I'm back from my romantic trip to Buffalo!
Hope everybody made it though Valentines day alright!

AHHH! AMAZING!
He gave me a tour of Buffalo University, then he surprised me by taking me to Niagara Falls (I had never been), then we chilled out at his house for a while and I played with his dogs while he made us dinner, and then we got all dressed up and went to Mamma Mia!
I was seriously one of the best weekend of my life!
